The R&A and the USGA have announced some new proposed changes

to the Rules of Golf in an effort to simplify and modernize the rules. The goals of the proposed changes are to make the rules easier to understand and apply not only for professionals and elite amateurs, but also for beginners, high-handicappers and typical club and recreational golfers at all levels of play around the world. Although there will certainly be controversy over some of the changes (should they go into effect) I think the modernization is good for the overall growth of the game. The current rules can be intimidating or off-putting, especially to younger golfers and those who are not familiar with the game’s traditions. The USGA has announced the proposals early to provide the golf community with an opportunity to provide feedback, prior to the new rules going into effect on January 1, 2019. I would encourage everyone to take a look at all of the new proposals, and to provide me with your feedback.
You can see all of these
proposed changes in detail on the USGA website at www.usga.org. I look forward to seeing you at the Club and on the Course soon! Everything for Golf,

Use This 3 Point Aiming Approach Routine 1. Select your target line behind the ball, and use an intermediate mark on the ground a few feet ahead as a reference point 2. Set the club face behind the ball looking squarely at your mark and look down your target line, before you take your grip and stance. 3. Align your body parallel to the target line particularly your shoulders.
