"YALP helped with my self-confidence, my character & figuring out my leadership style" Janae Edwards, Senior, Roland Park Country School
Overview
The Young Adult Leadership Program continues to challenge and push young adults out of their comfort zone. It is based on the philosophy that real growth and change takes time, practice and solid principles with interactive coaching. The five key areas are: Building Additional Self-Confidence Communication - Becoming Persuasive & Convincing Interpersonal Skill Development (Human Relations) Leadership - Tapping Your Leadership Abilities Effective Attitude Management and Minimizing Stress & Worry
How the Program Works
This is a step-by-step process that builds from session to session. The program is focused on skill building and retention; therefore practice over time is critical. It is participative and exercise driven with limited lecture and no written tests. You learn by doing!
