One year ago I approached the hosting association members about holding a sale again in conjunction with the prestigious North American International Livestock Exposition. It is my belief that a show with all of the history and tradition of the N.A.I.L.E. should have its own sale. It was my goal to make this not just another consignment sale, but an event that offered the very best of the best available in the breed. EVERY LOT had to be A.I. sired by nationally known and promoted bulls from established bull studs. These qualifications that I set forth with were strict and made the breeders dig pretty deep into their genetic pools to participate in this event. With a “short” year to prepare and due to the rigid nature of the qualifications, many breeders were not able to participate. While this may not be the biggest sale to take place this fall, I feel confident that the genetics offered through this event are second to none. If you are looking for an opportunity to put your herd on the map through genetic advancement, I encourage you to study the breeding pieces offered from the absolute heart of these breeders herds. The Red Angus breed as a whole is getting a tremendous amount of attention from the beef industry and justifiably so. For years they have been a very well kept secret in the cattle world. Red Angus cattle are moderate, easy fleshing, efficient producers of pounds of beef all wrapped in an eye appealing package. In short, the Red Angus breed is and has been exactly where all of the other breeds are trying to get today! Join us for this opportunity to select genetics that have passed the most serious criteria that I know of in the Red Angus breed and possibly the industry.

Jane Adolph: 815-244-5456

Sincerely,

Stuart Gilbert Red Cow Relocators

A beautiful profiling heifer out of a Rambo 502 daughter. BHC MISS BRIDGET is our top donor cow with offspring topping many sales. SIX MILE WINCHESTER 745W is a son of RED TOWAW INDEED who is now deceased and his progeny are in very high demand. This will be one of the first daughters of Winchester to sell in the United States. She deserves a second look!

What a phenomenal female to kick off this event! Make no mistake about it, when I set the rigid rules for this sale I knew there would be some very elite genetics rise to the top. You absolutely have to love the look of this young female, even before you look at her pedigree. With Indeed 104H, Norsman King 2291, Rambo 502 and the bull that put Rocky Hill Farm on the map, BHC Stryker, in her pedigree, there is no doubt that Libby is destined to make her mark on the new owner’s herd and possibly the breed. — RCR

This combination really clicked! BHC MISS BRIDGET is a RAMBO 502 daughter and FULL THROTTLE is the reigning World Angus Forum Champion. To give you a taste of what to expect, come by our stalls in Louisville and see some of this progeny. These calves will have alloy of guts and butts! They also have a lot of style. These embryos need to go home in your tank!

How often do you get to go to a sale and see in person, full sibs to the embryos that are being sold? Not too often I would guess! The Bridget cow has asserted her dominance in the Rocky Hill program for good reason. She is the right kind and gets the job done every time. There are a very few direct daughters of Rambo 502 in production, and their progeny are highly sought after throughout the breed. Make sure you take full advantage of this rare and exciting opportunity! — RCR

Riggins Anne 903 Dam of Lot 3 Embryos A little old school meets the future. These embryos come from the heart of the Shuter Family Cattle Company program. The Riggins Anne 903 female had many admirers across Indiana and around the country. She had a successful show career, winning her class at the N.A.I.L.E., standing second in class at the National Western Stock Show and being Champion Red Angus Female at the Hoosier Beef Congress and the 2010 Indiana State Fair. She is a moderate, broody, deep sided, high volume, sound moving female that takes a pretty good picture too. With her heritage tracing back to Leachman EBV and Leachman Prilark on the top side and the Amber and Anne cow families from Buffalo Creek on the bottom side, this mating mixes a little old blood with a little new blood. We are excited to partner with T C Reds and Weber Land and Cattle on the 2011 Res. National Champion Card Shark and can’t wait to see where he can take our herd and the breed. With Card Shark semen being off limits until 2012, here is your chance to get a little genetic lead time. We think this mating will be very, very special. Selling 3 embryos, guaranteeing 1 pregnancy if implanted by a certified tech.

WEBR TC Card Shark Sire of Lot 3 Embryos

The Shuter family may not be an “old” name in the Red Angus business, but it is a name you will here a lot in the future. They are carefully selecting genetics to base their herd on that would be the envy of many established breeders. Through careful selection and an aggressive E T program, they are well on their way to being a force to be reckoned with. Brian and his dad snuck up on us in Denver last year by grabbing a piece of the Card Shark bull just moments before he walked into the show ring so they could add him to their bull power battery. This is an excellent chance to capitalize on their foresight by purchasing these embryos. — RCR

5L Direct Design 893-6315 This heifer has a very interesting pedigree. On the sire side she is as pure Angus as she can be because her father is Red Na-ive F207, featured by Genex and the only Native Aberdeen Angus bull with semen available in the United States. The calves by this bull have exceeded our expectations. In her mother’s side, her pedigree reads pure blood from both the Black and Red Angus breed in the U.S. Her mother is a first calf heifer from the Blockanna family and by the herd bull 5L Direct Design featured at Cattle Visions. This Red Native female comes with the eye appeal that any cattleman likes to see. She is super sound on her feet and legs and has a great disposition. THIS YWR4 is entered in the N.A.I.L.E. Red Angus show. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have at 740-590-8663. — Brent

Looking for something different in bloodlines? Check out the pedigree on this one! It’s not often that we get new genetics from the Black Angus breed that have not already been introduced somewhere along the line. Here is a chance to gather some new genetics to add to your herd. The Blockanna cow family certainly needs no introduction to the Red Angus breed, as it is widely considered to be a necessary building block in herds across North America. Combine all of this with the Direct Design bull from the reputation 5L program, and you are insured to have a maternal masterpiece. Thistle Farms takes pride in their breeding stock and herd health and this heifer is no exception. She is from a Johnes Certified Free herd. — RCR

R230 was our foundation female from Von Forell’s and won Grand or Reserve Grand Champion across all breeds in junior shows across the Midwest during her show career. She was also Reserve Champion at the N.A.I.L.E. in 2003. Her first calf, Whistler, was our herd sire for several years and his daughters are great cows. The Mulberry embryos are full sibs to JKC Berry Advance 36W purchased by Wild Cat Creek Ranch for $23,000, the high selling lot in the Mile High Sale at the 2011 NWSS. We have full sib sisters to both matings and they are cows with great udders and plenty of performance to go along with it. Guaranteeing 1 pregnancy from each package if implanted by a certified technician. — Kurt

The crew at JK continually amaze me by offering some of the very best breeding pieces available in the Red Angus breed. 230 is the kind of cow that you can build a herd around. She doesn’t miss! The biggest question here is which lot to buy…..maybe you would be smart to get them both! — RCR

323R was a feature and high selling lot in the historic Perks dispersal. A direct daughter of Glacier Chateau from a 103 MPPA cow, she is one of the most powerfully made females we have seen. Maternally she traces to the same Daorv cow family as the great Miss Forster Coppertop 591 and LMG Daorv 841 females. Her future at Hickory Hills Farm is bright. HCFA Blockanna 718 was the lead off heifer of the 2008 NWSS Champion Pen Of Three and high selling lot later that day in the Mile High Classic. She has consistently produced calves with her length and thickness and yet still maintain plenty of eye appeal. 718 is a maternal sister to the famed National Champion female, Feddes Blockanna 807, their dam has posted a 105 MPPA and combines breed legends Logan 210 and Rambo 502. Seven calves from 718 have been born at Hickory Hills Farm in 2011. 718 is co-owned with Atkinson Red Angus. Offering a future flush on the buyers choice of donors. — John Guarantee of 6 transferable em-bryos with an open top. If fewer embryos are recovered, the price will be prorated per embryo. Buyer supplies semen and pays all flush/shipping costs. The flush will be conducted in early March 2012. Half of the purchase price due at the conclusion of the sale, balance due before the shipping of the embryos. Here is a super opportunity to flush your choice of these superior donor cows to the bull of your choice. Think about the possibilities involved with this lot, you get to flush some of the breeds most sought after genetics to the bull of your choice without having to invest several thousand dollars in a donor cow! Make your decisions wisely today they just may impact the entire breed. — RCR

Red Fine Line Mulberry 26P Embryos from this cow have already sold for $1,000 a piece in the 2011 Tradition With A Vision Sale. She is a maternal sister to the great herd bull Red YY Red Knight 640F in Canada. A full brother to these embryos sold for $8,500 to Ron Rhabe, the Rocking R Ranch in Kansas in the 2009 Brylor Bull Sale. Not a bad investment opportunity in Louisville and the All AI Event. I predict that after the news gets around from the Mulberry Mayhem event in Emporia, KS the value of these genetics will appreciate greatly. Remember, Mulberry semen is now officially off the market. Calving ease and the ultimate maternal pedigree. Out of a first calf Mulberry 26P daughter with a picture perfect udder and a past National Champion Heifer Calf. Don’t let him be the bull that you tell people you could have bought. — Mark What an opportunity here! A calving ease son of Three Aces Sideways and out of a Mulberry 26P first calf heifer. Mulberry is the bull that we “based” a sale on in Emporia KS in October, and his daughters are simply magnificent. Six Mile Timberlake 180T • Dam of Lot 13 One of the few Timberlake daughters in loose hands! Bart tells me as a sire group they are absolutely outstanding. Timberlake, being an Indeed son that is very rare and hard to get a hold of, and crossed on the Enterprise cow that traces back to past greats like Lchman Enterprise, Lchmn No Equal and Schuler Design, makes this great young female a cowman’s dream. Look at her EPDs – WW/55 YW/79 Milk/16 T.Mat/ 43. This is the formula for great momma cows and success for her new owner for sure.

An own daughter of the infamous Monu 4X bull that is a proven producer. Maternally she track back to the likes of VC Chief, Sayre Patriot and Galena. How about that for a pedigree that has stood the test of time? She is an easy keeping cow with a super disposition. There aren’t a lot of Monu 4X daughters left in production and many of them are in donor pens. Study her pedigree closely, many of the sires represented there are time tested, proven and the cattleman’s kind. This may be one of your last chances to get a hold of some of these “Old School” genetic. Imagine breeding her to the bull of your choice and getting a heifer calf to replace her! — RCR

LJC Mission Statement P27 • Sire of Lot 16 Here is a young lady that is ready to go to work for the new owner and make them some serious money. An own daughter of the LJC Mission Statement P27 that has influenced so many herds on the North American continent. Maternally she is out of a cow that is a direct daughter of Glacier Logan 210. Couple that with the Boot Jack Ranch breeding that courses through her veins, and this becomes a very special opportunity to progress your herd forward with leaps and bounds. She is genetically “lined up” to be a maternal masterpiece. — RCR

An own son of Red SSS Pursue 99M the bull that Mike Karwiek has used heavily in the Walnut Springs Program. This is absolutely a mixture of the tried and true genetics and some of the most cutting edge genetics from the present. One can only imagine the possibilities that can be associated with this unique genetic composition. Pursue’s semen sold for $200 a straw at auction. The Pursue sons were very popular at the Red Alliance Sale in Oklahoma as well. Here is a chance to get a Pursue son of your own. — RCR

Check out her phenomenal numbers and amazing track record! Her first son sold for $12,000 for 1/2 interest, her second calf by Mulberry sold for $56,000 and another daughter sold for $10,500 in the Tradition With A Vision 2011 sale for 1/2 interest in her as well. In fact all told 13 of her progeny have sold to gross $141,800. In addition to her live progeny at Brylors, an ET daughter of hers sold for $13,000 from Damars to JK/Three Fires in KS. We have a full sister born in 2011 to these eggs and she may just be the best Olivia yet! New Trend just keeps getting more and more popular as time goes by. We’ve used him for 17 years now and plans are to keep using him in the future. In 2004 the last 50 straws of New Trend sold sold right here for $350 a straw. Selling a package of 3 embryos.

Surprise Lot!!! We have started a bit of a tradition with our sales – the surprise lot. We will not let the identity of this lot be public until sale day. It may be an animal that we have recruited out of some ones show string while we are at the show or it may be something special that has been previously arranged. Whatever the case may be, you can bet that it will be a very special opportunity to advance your breeding program.

What a tremendous opportunity to get your hands on some 23U semen! It’s time to get your AI program on the leading edge of the genetic revolution here! Where else but here in Louisville, KY does such a great offering of hard to find genetics present its self. Net Worth 23U certainly needs no introduction to progressive Red Angus breeders around the country after causing quite a stir selling to a group of 11 breeders. Don’t let this one slip past you.

We will be hunting in Louisville! You will want to be logged into our internet provider, Cattle In Motion, or call us directly the morning of November 16th. We will be prowling the isles at the N.A.I.L.E looking for cattle that qualify for this event but may not have been entered in it. Check with us to find out about any BONUS LOTS we may bring to you!
