Guarantee six transferrable embryos. Buyer to pay all -0.2 flush expenses. One half payment due sale day, balance MCE due upon delivery of embryos. JSF will offer semen from their entire herd bull battery for this flush at no additional cost. If you walk through all 200+ cows at JSF, Princess 441 is likely to be on your list of favorites. To many visitors, she’s the best cow on the farm. The Eagle 255 daughters have obviously earned their keep in Kathryn, ND, but Princess 441 has proven much more than that. Few cows in the history of the breed can be mated as many ways as 441 and do it with success every time. SULL Red Rock may be her most famous son, but the breadth of daughters in production may be the true measure of the value of this flush. Here is a rare opportunity in the breed to flush a proven donor with the expectations of your next herd sire, show prospect, or tremendous production cow all in one. Due March 2012. Flush to take place approximately two -3.6 months after calving. Guarantee six transferable MCE embryos. Buyer to pay all flush expenses. One half payment due sale day, balance due upon delivery of embryos. CF Quantum Queen was shown by Xavier Ferris in 2011 winning several times including Reserve Champion Heifer in both the Major Atlantic PACE and Junior Shows at the KILE in Harrisburg, Pa., and Champion Heifer at the IN State Fair PACE show. Purchased at the top of the Cates Farm 2010 Sale, Quantum Queen is a daughter of CF Firestone, a many time champion, son of HD Bloodstone. Quantum Queen’s dam is a daughter of a WHR Sonny cow and by K-Kim Oketo 32L, a National Champion. Here is the chance to purchase a flush on one of the most unique, deep-bodied, massive made, structurally correct heifers shown in 2011. She always caught the attention of the crowd when Xavier walked her in. Here is a cow that can be flushed many ways to produce that next great Shorthorn or ShorthornPlus heifer or bull. 3.0 Due January 2012. Flush to take place approximately -7.1 two months after calving. Guarantee six transferable MCE embryos. Buyer to pay all flush expenses. One half payment due sale day, balance due upon delivery of embryos. AW Mirage 46T is the mother of the Grand Champion Shorthorn Steer at the 2011 Jr. National in Indianapolis, the 2010 IN Beef Congress, and the 2011 IN State Fair for Chloe Martin. We consider Mirage 46T one of our top young donor cows. We have six ET calves due in 2012 from her and plan on having more next year. This cow has proven her ability to produce steers and we believe the heifers will be just as good. You can use a number of bulls in this flush depending on what you want; ShorthornPlus options are endless. Mirage 46T is a natural calf of our donor AF SL Mirage 228, a full sister to Mirage 226 and 435, both top donors in the Sullivan program. She is by Martindell Vortec 543, a top producing son of JM Vortec. Here is the chance to purchase a flush if you want steers or heifers. We will offer the buyer semen on SULL Primetime, a two time National Champion, or SULL Stockman, the current National Champion. Fred Ripberger • 317-694-4273 Milk

You cant build them anymore genuine than this guy. He's N/A MCE powerful coming at you, big topped, bold ribbed, and 79.5 CAN % leaves with a view that is just as impressive. But what makes this one really good, is that fact that he combines this masculinity in a good looking package. This one is great in his lines, wellproportioned, and only gets better when he gets out and moves. We think this guy could not only get the job done in the pasture, but he could definitely compete in the ring. Of the three, He's the dual purpose bull. Red Nan 8144 posted ratios of 125 for REA and 160 for IMF at one year of age. Her first calf, a bull, was sold last spring in Waukaru’s The Gathering as the lead-off Durham Red bull. 8144 mating to Patent 8161 was one of the most highly anticipated calvings in the 2011 drop. Saskvalley Stampede 128S
Selling 1 package of 10 units of U.S. qualified semen on the bull of the buyers choice. We have done a lot of research and have invested a lot of time & effort in procuring the finest and best-backed bulls to lead our Midwestern Shorthorn herd to the forefront of quality cow-based genetics. The bulls we offer here are two that we imported directly from Western Canada in 2010 which have and will continue to return real-world traits to the traditional Shorthorn cow herd. Lad 13N, now deceased, may be the greatest cow-maker we have ever used. His daughters have been Provincial and National Champions in Canada as bred heifers, and more importantly calve on their own, flesh well, and make big bellied, wedge-shaped brood matrons. Stampede is going to be the highlight bull at BSG in 2012. The service sire to the North Dakota State heifer breeding program last spring, he is a breathtaking individual himself and still transmits his incredible phenotype into every calf born here. This is your bull if you need super attractive calves that are still powered-up.

Guarantee one pregnancy if implanted by a certified technician. It's no surprise that Bill chose embryos by his popular young herd sire DF Waco, mated to two distinctively different Little Cedar donors. SULL Mona Lisa Dazzler is the full sister to SULL Outback 8116, high-selling bull of the 2008 Maternal Legends Sale. SULL Sara Rose 8193 is the full sister to the dam of SULL Roan Rose Mary ET, 2011 NAILE Grand Champion and 2011 AJSA Junior National Grand Champion. She's also the full sister of the two of the breed's most influential sires HD Bloodstone and CF Solution. The Shorthorn Foundation is dedicated to building the Shorthorn breed’s opportunities in the cattle business, educating cattlemen and Shorthorn youth, and promoting the benefits and advantages of using Shorthorn genetics. Through your support the Foundation will continue these worthy endeavors and expand the impact the Shorthorn breed and our producers can have on the beef industry. All-American Junior Breeder Program The All-American Junior Breeder Program is an incentive-based, educational program aimed at teaching members of the American Junior Shorthorn Association (AJSA) about performance records and Expected Progeny Differences (EPD), coupled with desirable phenotype and their collective application to breeding Shorthorn cattle. Juniors will be monetarily awarded for their knowledge of the above topics, and specifically how they relate to their own herd. This is not a trophy or scholarship that only rewards the junior with the “best” EPDs, but rather a program aimed at testing a young breeder’s knowledge of their beloved breed. The ultimate goal is to engage young breeders into raising Shorthorn cattle long past their years as a junior member. The American Shorthorn Association will contribute 1.0% of The Summit National Shorthorn Sale’s gross revenue to the program. Based on 2011, this contribution will be approximately $2000. Breeders contribute to the program by nominating their herd for a flat fee. Winner(s) will receive “Shorthorn Bucks” to purchase a purebred Shorthorn bull or female (no steers, embryos, semen, etc.), but ONLY from breeders that nominate their herds. Additional information of this new incentive program for juniors and breeders will be available on sale day and at www.shorthorn.org.
