Judy Ayres, Erma & Bob Pascalar, Cara Ayres, Judge Nico, Tommy & Jonwyn Ayres with “Champ,” Champion Market Steer 2011 Ravalli Co Fair. “Champ” is a registered Angus steer sired by: Ayres Montana Upgrade 248 Dam: Ayres Cinco de Eva 35.

Dear Cattle Friends,

Tom & Cara Ayres 1229 Iron Cap Drive Stevensville, MT 59870 Tom 406-531-6130 Cara 531-6131

There has always been a conviction between Tomm y and I that Angus can, indeed, do all things and at Ayres Angus, they must do them as frugally as possible. This philo sophy and reality has molded the breeding decisions for over three decades, and has created a herd of 50 beautiful brood s. The “girls” with butt, body, and balance, at Ayres Angu s are only kept if they wean off a rip at side, year after year. This highly select herd has seen its accomplishments at the feedb unk (Treasure and Midland winners), in the Pathfinder report (30+ yrs of AHIR), and they have also received the nod of approval from respected judges with National Championships. We are proud that our females and genetics have work ed productively for so many Angus breeders from acros s the nation, both young and old, in the showring, and the breeding pasture. Helping others succeed is our greatest rewar d. Please take advantage of our personal invite to come see the girls in the flesh or to call and visit with either of us, or any of our marketing representatives to see which Dynamic Diva will fulfill your desires. The cattle and the scenery will not disappoint. Take this opportunity to check out the beautiful mountains of Western Montana, and fish or float the Bitterroot River. Late summer is a great time to be here! 2012 has had its share of gifts. We are grateful for our incredible calf-crop, as well as the Gragg family Ranc h, where the Dynamic Divas reside all year. However, 2012 has also come with great loss to our family. Our world was covered with a large grey cloud when we lost Tommy’s moth er this past April. Judy Ayres will be missed as a loving moth er and a remarkable stockman, both our hearts and herd will forever miss her attention. Nothing would bring Judy more joy than watching us achieve with the cattle. With the love and support we’ve collected throughout our lives, we are able to pick up and keep moving. Thank you to so many of you who have shared that love. Love will prevail. We invite you to view and bid on this year’s Dyna mic Diva Internet Only Sale. Our wonderful guest consignors are offering their best. All 14 lots can be viewed at cattleinmotion.com. Grateful, Cara, Tommy, & Jonwyn Ayres Judy Ayres visiting with Melissa McFadgen after sorting calves

Stardom is a very appropriate name for this Diva. Stardom 52 is a full sister in blood to the Knebel heifer that was champion at the Hoosier Beef Congress and Calf Champion @ NWSS. Stardom 52 is extreme fronted, yet stout and soft enough to compete at any level. Ayres is retaining a one time flush right at their cost and at the buyer’s convenience. * Parent Average EPDs

Here’s another sweet fronted, sound Barbaramere that deserves a close look. Her dam is a T510 cow that stems from the same cow family as “Easy Upgrade.” The Barbaras are maternal mamas! Her granddam, Ayres Barbaramere 296 boosts a weaning ratio of 103/4 as well as 152 on IMF, and 114 on RE...yes, the mellow Barbara’s milk and marble! 992 is extra feminine female that fills her tracks and is deceivingly thick and soggy with this much look! She should be easy to manage as she finds the backdrop and beyond! Ayres is retaining a one time flush right at their cost and at the buyer’s convenience.

Owned by Ayres Angus Order Semen From Ayres Angus or Origen Semen: $30 Certs: $50 BW: 89 WW: 807 YW: 1300 SC: 38 REA: 14.0 “Montana Upgrade” has made a great herd produce a stellar calf crop for the past three years, as well as dominated their AI contemps. This easy to handle stud provides all the balance and flawlessness of structure that he inherited from his sire and amped that up with the power of his and “Revival’s” stout dam, Ayres Emmy Eva 10! More bone, correctness, length of front, and pounds is what this big footed, big testiculed, and muscular stud gifts to his calves. Three Divas sired from his 1st crop found themselves on the Nat’l scene. They were shown at Louisville, Denver, and Reno, never standing lower than 2nd, including Division winners at Reno and Denver! Ayres Alexenia 440, owned by Trista Bates, twice won the MT Beef Expo, the second time as a Cow/Calf, the Montana State Fair Jr show, as well at the Montana Buckle series, and finished up her show career at the 2nd National ROV Champion Jr Yearling Female of the Year 2012. Catherine Knebel’s Montana Upgrade daughter, Ayres Stardom Eline 401, finds the purple every time! Whether as the 2012 Hoosier Beef Congress Winner, or as Div Champ at Denver! Katie Keys, Montana Upgrade daughter claimed Champion Intermediate and Res Champion Female at the NW Regional Preview! Jonwyn Ayres won Grand Champion Steer at her tough county fair with a Montana Upgrade son, and won Res Champ early Spring Calf at Reno with her Montana Upgrade Bred & Owned. So many great cows stack his pedigree, we feel fortunate to use him. 15

Owned with McCormick Ranches, Oshkosh, NE. Order Semen from Ayres Angus or Origen, Semen $20 Certs $30 BW: 88 WW: 891 YW: 1417 SC: 42 REA: 16.7 “New View” is simply the epitome of a great beef bull. You have to give showring credit when his progeny are found on the tanbark. No, they’re not always the prettiest, but they are always the beefiest topped, biggest ended, most massive ribbed individuals, who’ll win on pounds and structure and….are just cool enough looking to win! After Byron McCormick, an innovative commercial man, purchased “New View” for over 10k at the Denver bull sale he brought him home and not only made big time premiums by retaining ownership but he also kept and sold commercial bulls for the first time to sell to his envious neighboring ranchers who had to get a “New View” on their own herd. Coming from the highly maternal Eline family, who grabs 2 Nat’l Cow/Calf contests (NJAS and Denver) within the last 10 years. Performance above all else, his maternal brother was the 3rd high gainer at Midland in ’07, and a son was the 2nd High WDA Midland in ’09. The now deceased but always docile New View threw many ROV show Champions, and his get was Nationally ranked 3rd in ’07. Come see Cara’s favorite cows…Thanks for all the Divas, you big stud!
