A real American icon A good friend who will be truly missed
Time. It is a peculiar thing that leaves me wondering how it continually goes by so fast. The old and the wise have always said, the days are long and the years are short, time sure does fly. Jami and myself have devoted our time and lives to supporting our family and maintaining our way of life. In times of dispersions and uncertainties, our faith in farming and family has never wavered, despite it all, the glue that has held everything together is Hereford cattle. We have dedicated ourselves to the breed, as well as the people involved and diligently stand behind both. We want our children to grow up to be like the people involved in the Hereford breed; dedicated, compassionate, strong-willed, and always ready to lend a hand. These days, the Hereford breeder is being challenged by the consumer, customer and environment, working harder than ever to produce better cattle from the ground up. We stand behind these cattle with a passion to make things right, keeping our customers wanting more and getting it. We are very proud to be Hereford breeders, and will stand behind our product 100%. As our family farm changes, we are continually thankful to our past customers and friends for their ongoing support. We would have never dreamed of coming this far without you. Bill and Joan Cutler, words cannot begin to express the feelings that have come from selling them their first cow, and watching their farm grow into something beautiful. We cherish your friendship, from the dinners to the late evening chats, thank you for your encouragement. Burt Lake is the reason that Ridgeview exists, thank you for giving us a chance to pursue our dream. Vince Fischer, many thanks for stepping up when I was unable to. Your dedication to my family and Ridgeview is recognized and will never be forgotten my friend. I often thought of myself as invincible, a protector to the ones that I hold close, but all of that changed last year after the wreck. I have learned to appreciate things more, especially the little things we take for granted. Family and friends are of the upmost importance to me. Thank you for everyone who lent a hand when times were tough. Thank you to our guest consignors this year; Cutlers Little Farm, Goble Cattle Co., Rollins Herefords, Parks Farm, Harris Creek Herefords and Cottonwood Springs Farm. These consignors are very good friends and have looked deep into their herds to find ones that will improve the future of the breed. We are very happy to have them this year. We have gone through our herd with a fine-tooth comb, finding the cattle that I believe are the ones that will make cowherds better, stronger and more valuable. I have yet to comment on my daughter Hailey and the boys. They are all fabulous, growing up way too fast and keeping us happy and on our toes. Our lives are blessed because of them. Written on the walls of our house, Jami and I have a statement that we try to live by everyday, “Love doesn’t make the world go ‘round, Love is what makes the ride worthwhile”. Bob

Pretty doesn’t describe her well enough as she just has that “look” we all seek. She will be hard to beat for “best udder” in our two year old group. She settled A.I. first service to the Denver champion Trust.............Can’t wait to see this one. *This 719T baby is one of the top end cow prospects. Git-R-Done as always worked perfectly on this mating and the result is this super 4 year old. This calf’s dam is one of the cows we refuse to sell. She was bred by Grassy Run Farms in West Virginia and we count on her having one of our best each year. This guy is short marked, stands on a strong foundation and has that “grow look”.
A dark red masculine son of the proven producer Git-R-Done who never missed for us. This calf is out of our strong breeding Dakota cow family that we hold in very high esteem. This calf has the potential to really leave a wonderful set of replacement females. His maternal brother Holdin an Ace was our top bull calf last year and sold in this sale to John Moss of Moss Land & Cattle.

2100 is what we hoped to get out of this mating. Body, style and soundness with a great set of EPD’s. The dam of 2100 is a prolific producer that always has one of the best calves and is as fertile as they come. The 955’s are what we hoped for, great lines, lots of body, and growth to match it all. A true herd matron in the making.

LOT 52 This Outcross has caught the eye of all our visitors. 2102’s dam is a young Sooner daughter out of the Denver Supreme Champion, Gabrielle. The Sooners are great mothers, add in the power and growth of outcross and this heifer covers all the bases to be an elite herd piece.
A thick, bold sprung female out of one of CSF’s most consistent cows. 2202 goes back to 8063 and Remitall Catalina 24H, two proven breed matrons. The Outcross’s have great udders with milk to compliment the growth and muscle they possess.
Just an April heifer with tons of potential. 2400’s Dam is royally bred with the great Copper cow 496,and is going into our donor herd. The 1S bull is our new herd sire that originated from the Topp program and has done a tremendous job of adding volume and thickness.
