• This stout, big hipped daughter

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

of Alias is backed by a Frye bred Chill Factor daughter. R5 has been a leading producer and has generated several top selling steer calves and replacements. She produced one Heat Wave selling to Bonham and other top pasture sellers. She is only offered to highlight the sale and is a leading donor candidate. She sells safe to Monopoly for a calf that could pay big returns right off the bat! • R5 is a long necked, big boned cow that is deep sided and sound structured. She will no doubt be impressive on sale week. Add this Alias - Chill Factor daughter to any

• Here is a beautiful Maintainer daughter of Ali with a shot of Meyer on the bottom side. This has been a favorite of mine since she was a calf. She is as long, clean, feminine and as attractive as you can make one. • She sells safe to Sting who was the $20,000 Featured Bull in the 2011 Western Elite from Buck Cattle Company. Sting’s mother is a great Irish Whiskey that Jirl bought from Duello and Bauman for $20,000 in 2008 and has had numerous high dollar full sibs to Sting. The first calf crop by Sting produced a number of standouts at Buck’s and Duello’s.

daughters we sent for your appraisal. These females are incredible. The original mission of The Western Elite lives on…To bring unique maternal genetics in volume. I don’t know where you would go to find a set of females of this caliber…and enjoy the sights and sounds of the National Western. • This is a long, thick ended, good balanced female that is probably the biggest boned and hairiest of the Hans daughters being offered. She is safe to the great producing Black Label. I bred her to make another female, if you don’t need a replacement heifer when this one is

Duello • 7532 • Black • Fall 2007 SIRE: Hans (Hannibal x Meyer) DAM: Maine Angus A.I. 7/14 Black Label (Irish Whiskey) • Safe to AI

• The absolute ONLY way to be sure you got the best Hans daughter bought would be to buy them all. I am serious! These four females are deadly. • 8031 has been bred to calving ease and maternal sires for her first two calves just like all of the cows at Duello Cattle Co and now she’s mature enough to put the power to her…she is safe to Monopoly. We all know how dominant Monopoly has been in the sale ring and the show ring over the past several years and I’ll bet that there aren’t many of them with a mother this good.

Lot 8 - Duello Hans 8031 Duello • 8031 • Black • Spring 2008 SIRE: Hans (Hannibal x Meyer) DAM: Meyer 734 Son A.I. 5/26 Monopoly • Safe to AI

• The Meyer Daughters and Grand-

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

daughters have been the back bone of Duello Cattle Company for years. They are incredible brood cows that are consistent producers of quality. We insist that they are practical, productive cattle first and then expect them to generate the “kind” that will produce a premium and win a show. • Here is a perfect example, a Meyer x Draft Pick with a good bag and a history of production that is stout, attractive, correctly designed, well balanced, sound structured and a good looking baldy that should set the world on fire when mated to Monopoly…help yourself.

• Here is the first Blue Blood cow in the offering…and she’s big time good. At picture time she was high on the list, and for good reason. She is backed by a stout, great producing Meyer dam on the bottom side. • This female is rocket necked, has incredible rib shape and has a blow your mind hip and hind leg. She is a good moving, big boned cow with lots of balance and profile. Sounds like another perfect combination for Monopoly. She is safe that way for a March baby.

• The Carney Man females have

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

been some of the most productive and most impressive females in the business, in many leading herds. His combination of Witch Doctor and Meyer have made his daughters maternal foundations. • 7367 sells bred to an impressive son of Irish Whiskey at work in the Collins program. This Whiskey x Cunia bull was bred in the Dale Newman herd and his first daughters are exceptional with lots of bone, power and substance. This mating could yeild a great female and this good cow is the type and kind to keep you in business when bred to club calf type sires or maternal, replacement producing genetics.

• 6211 is only offered to highlight this sale. It’s hard to bring cattle this far, unless they are this good! This is a leading club calf producing female. She is proven and has produced two natural calves, sired by Heat Wave, for over $7500 each. • Sleep Easy was a Glover bred Draftpick son, used by Collins. He was a long necked, powerful hipped Maine bull that generated some of the most succesfull daughters in those herds. • 6211’s mating to Monopoly is exciting in it’s own right. The Monopoly mating, like the Heat Wave mating on top of Sleep Easy daughters has produced many top sellers. • This is a cow that is functional and easy keeping, yet long enough fronted and powerful enough to produce major selling steers and show heifer prospects.

• Every year it gets harder for me to

let these baldy Meyer Granddaughters go, and this is no exception. This is a maternal masterpiece with a look and pedigree that can make breeding cattle or show steers. • 8028 is a huge bodied, deep sided, big hipped power cow that is feminine and attractive fronted. She is a good boned, big footed female that is very sound and productive. • We like our Wide Open cattle a lot and we brought you a couple of examples in the back of the catalog of why this good cow carrying his service needs to bring top dollar. For example, the only Heat Wave steer calf born at Duello Cattle Company in the spring of 2012, brought $25,000 in June. The reason he was the only Heat Wave born, was that his mother was injured and unable to come to Denver for last years sale. We mate the good ones for you and bring them to the Western Elite!

• The B3 crew brought you the

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

goods again in 2013. This may be the biggest bodied, softest made, most massive cow in the offering. • These Aftershock daughters are always good and this is certainly no exception. She is big topped, thick ended, and really good on her feet and legs. She sells safe to Kojak a leading Purebred Charolais for B3 and Bauman Cattle Company. • Anybody paying attention to what these registered percentage Charolias heifers are bringing at auction and online sales this past fall and winter. This might just be your chance to cash the big ticket.

coming four year old with lots of quality. • Here is another really stout one

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

from the B3 crew. 6028 is an extremely deep sided, heavy structured Meyer Granddaughter with a little shot of Maine on the bottom side to add hair and bone. • She raised an outstanding steer calf in 2010 that sold to Todd Caldwell. Bruce really thinks this one will hit with Believe In Me.

Lot 19 - BaumanB3 Meyer 6028 B3 • 6028 • Black Baldy • Spring 2006 SIRE: Meyer 734 Son DAM: Maine Cross A.I. 5/30 Believe in Me • Safe A.I.

Check out her Grizzly daughter that sells as Lot 76. • Knowing she put that much pattern, power and look in one that is calving ease sired…Just imagine the potential of the Monopoly she is carrying. This is a good looking young cow that is made right for major production.

• 9210 is another Meyer Granddaughter that we admire a great deal. She is a beautifully balanced, smooth made, straight lined young cow with that extra punch. This one is extra deep in her fore rib and flank and has great spring of rib and base width. • The sons of Meyer 734 and the daughters they have produced have been some of the most successful genetics in the club calf business. Many great ones still have Meyer in the pedigree. • Poison Arrow should really work nice on this one.

• I don’t know how I got this one so

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

far back in the catalog; you can bet she won’t be this far down the sale order. Here is a steer maker deluxe. • Her look, substance of bone, muscle shape, balance and structure make her the perfect candidate for Troubadour. • Expect a silver brockle face or baldy that will knock your socks off in April. The mating of Troubadour to Heat Wave daughters may be one of the most consistent, proven and successful matings today!

Lot 23 - Duello HeatWave 9082 Troubadour Service Sire to Lot 23 plus many others. Several Heat Wave daughters sell bred to Troubadour! Quick return!

• This is perhaps the stoutest Meyer granddaughter in the sale. 8036 is massive through the center one third of her body, has a big square hip, and is wide based with just the right amount of bone. If you watch the video you may note that she was a little tentative in her movement as she fought the chute and was a little sore. She will be fine by the sale. • This is a young power cow in the making. Another Meyer x Draftpick pedigree. Where else can you find this kind of quality and predictability.

daughter. She is moderate to smaller in frame size but is extremely big bodied, thick ended and wide based. • 8081 is clean made, nice balanced and really good looking from the profile. These Tyson’s are really attractive, productive cattle that consistently generate quality. The Monopoly on board should be exciting.

Sire of Lot 25 Tyson has generated many good Maine influenced daughters.

• Those of you specifically looking for maternal genetics to make replacements, seedstock and show heifers please consider this one. • 8019 is deep, sound, big bodied and stout. I absolutely love the rump, hind leg and balance she displays. This cow maker bred to Troubadour will prove to be a very wise investment. The first calf heifers of Troubadour are generating lots of good talk. His semen is in big demand with little available.

Donor Dams & Foundation Young Cows

• This hard working Meyer daughter is out of one of the most important Angus cows ever at Collins, right behind Grizz 950. Stoneybroke 297 produced countless high selling females and daughters that have produced tremendously. Many daughters of 297 have sold for $5000 to $25,000 and many were resold for higher figures. It’s hard to part with this good cow. • 5279’s best daughter may be 0261, pictured below. She is a daughter of Troubadour and is one, if not the best fall calving two year old at Collins, in a pen full of great ones. • This is a good solid female that will generate quality cattle consistently.

Lot 27- Collins Meyer 5279 Daughter of Lot 27 A top 2011 replacement and Daughter of Troubadour out of Meyer 5279.

• This is the “Reaction Lot” in the sale. By that I mean that every time you take some one in to the pen you get a definite reaction and usually very distinct and unique outburst many of which can’t be repeated here. Christy is right in her comment in the brochure “this one is built for speed” and Shane Bedwell is also right “that one is out there”. • This Dark Red Walks Alone daughter is one of the most unique beasts I’ve seen. She is a freak in so many ways and so practical in so many others. You just don’t find cattle with this much bone, muscle, hair and just general stoutness that are this big bodied, well balanced, good looking, correct structured and easy moving. I believe this may be one of the most big time steer mama’s we’ve sold in a long time… maybe ever.

This female is exceptionally big centered with tremendous depth and spring of rib. She is big topped, perfect out her hip and tail head with lots of flank. On top of all this stoutness she is outstanding from a balance, structure and profile stand point with femininity to burn. And, as you can see she is beautiful from the profile, clean made and a well balanced, straight lined heifer that is impeccable from a structure and mobility standpoint. • Her mother is a great direct daughter of Meyer 734 that came from Ankony’s ET program several years ago. Her calf by I-80 could be exciting and consider the potential when mating this one to Monopoly. That cross is producing lots of success in the last two seasons. • 84Y is a great profiling, very correct daughter of Firewater that is moderate framed and huge bodied. Good Charolais females with this much quality and correctness are hard to find. Imagine the possibilities here. Look long and hard at this 7/8 Felony daughter. • Three quarter sisters to Lot 53 were the 2012 Reserve Jr. National Champion as well as a Reserve Division Champion in the same show. • Her dam Josie T38, turned heads in Denver as a calf, being named Res. • This is a super cool, extra young bred heifer that has as much style and quality as you can want in a club calf producing female. Super cool necked, square hipped and nice profiled. This heifer comes right off the top of the spring bred heifers and she is no doubt donor material. • She sells serviced to My Kind for a tremendous replacement female opportunity. My Kind is a son of OCC Machinist, going back to a good Meyer granddaughter out of the Collins herd.

• Here is another of the fall borns that we intentionally carried over to calve in the spring…and she is special. 0510 is extremely clean, attractive and powerful. The judging teams that have been here just fall in love with her. She is a really pretty fronted female whose neck comes high out of her shoulder. She blends right from her shoulder into her top, which is massive. She is so unique in the amount of dimension and power through her top and hip yet she is so perfectly level a square in her design. This heifer’s structural design and bone work are excellent and she is very athletic and free moving. And I almost forgot…SHE IS STUNNING FROM THE PROFILE!

Lot 88- CollinsWhiskey 012 Collins • 012 • Black • Fall 2010 SIRE: Irish Whiskey (BK Icepick) DAM: 4050 Dam to 6001 A.I. 4/19 My Kind (OCC Machinist x 734) P.E. My Kind • 8+ mo on 1/19 • Here’s a direct daughter of Whiskey that is out of a leading Angus cow in the Collins program. 4050 was the dam of 6001, the highest selling Angus female of all time in an Exposure sale, sired by Grizz. 6001 is owned with Scheetz and she is also the granddam of “FEVER PITCH” selling as LOT A in this offering. This heifer was absent on photo day, she’s a top from the Collins program and will be one to look for. You know the value of Whiskey daughters and their proven consistency when bred to many club calf producing sires. 012 comes from a great cow family. Lots of good genetics in this lot.

Lot 89 - B3 Felony 105Y B3 • 105Y • Charolais Cross • Spring 2011 SIRE: Felony (Kojack x Lifeline-Phylli) DAM: Maine Cross A.I. 5/18 I-80 • Here is a really nice designed Chocolate heifer that you need to see, she just wouldn’t cooperate on picture day. She is a maternal sib to a highly competitive steer that won three tough shows in Nebraska a couple of years ago. The Bauman’s always bring the goods.

Lot 92- Duello 1084 Duello • 1084 • Black Baldy • Spring 2011 SIRE: Blue Blood (Hannibal x Double Stuff) DAM: Meyer 734 A.I. 5/17 OCC Emblazon 928U • Safe to AI P.E. 6/16-8/15 Machinest x Meyer Grd • This brockle faced Blue Blood daughter’s dam is undoubtedly one of the most impressive Meyer daughters on the place and that’s a pretty big t order. 1084 is long necked, clean made and cool looking. She has a big square hip.

Lot 95 - DuelloGrizzly 1042 Duello • 1042 • Black Baldy • Spring 2011 SIRE: Grizzly (50% Simmental) DAM: Hans (Hanibal x Meyer) A.I. 5/23 Jesse James • Safe to AI P.E. 6/16-8/15 Angus • This heifer is largely better than the photo she finally gave us in the rough condiations. She is real good…in fact one of the top five Grizzly’s. She t is long, clean, level, attractive, balanced, thick and feminine.

Duello • 1047 • Black • Spring 2011 SIRE: Grizzly (50% Simmental) DAM: Multi Sire Maine A.I. 5/17 Cow Town • Safe to AI P.E. 6/16-8/15 Angus

• These Walks Alone’s really look cowwy to me. I have preached to you for several years now that these club calf sired females out of truly maternal bred mothers can be good cows, and this one will be. She is stout, thick, hairy and powerful.

• This may be the best performing, stoutest made, biggest bodied and easiest keeping females in the offering. We rarely talk enough about fleshing ability in these types of sales but in the real world we need to. She is a tank.

• This is another attractive, clean made, long bodied Grizzly daughter out of real powerful cow.

Lot 99 - Duello Grizzly1055

Lot 100 - Duello Grizzly 1061

Duello • 1055 • Black White • Spring 2011 SIRE: Grizzly (50% Simmental) DAM: Heat Wave Son A.I. 5/22 Tyson (Ali) P.E. 6/16-8/15 Angus • Safe to AI

Duello • 1061 • Black • Spring 2011 SIRE: Grizzly (50% Simmental) DAM: Meyer 734 Son A.I. 5/18 Tyson (Ali) P.E. 6/16-8/15 Angus • Safe to AI

• Look at the videos if you are not coming to Denver on these last few Lots. We simply ran out of sunshine and cooperation. This smaller framed Grizzly is real feminine made, good balanced and super sound, with just the right amount of chrome.

• I had this one ranked pretty high but she had a mind of her own on picture day. I think the video is ok and I know the heifer is. She is a Grizzly…clean made, long bodied, nice balanced and big boned with plenty of substance.

• The Western Elite and the atmosphere of the National Western is a great place to feature young sires. In 2011, the sale added some elite bull prospects to the line-up. The past two years have seen some powerful prospects offered. In 2011, Big River was the second highest selling bull of all breeds in the yard at $45,000. That same year Sting sold for $20,000. Last year Sugar and One Hot Summer commanded $22,000 and $12,000 respectively. These bulls are being used today in our programs.

Big River - Sold in 2011 to JE Ranch Foundation

Sugar - Sold in 2012 to Voegele

Sting - Sold in 2011 to Morton and Duello

• Much contemplation was made over the offering of Fever Pitch in this years sale. He is one of the stoutest and best made bulls, that offers as much maternal ability as any we have seen. If you are looking for bone, softness of rib, and a super sound structure, Fever Pitch has this in spades. • His dam is a Meyer 734 daughter out of Collins Travelina 6001. Travelina 6001, a daughter of GCC Grizz, was an Angus heifer that many remember well. She commanded a $32,000 hammer price, for one half interest, in an Exposure sale. She is owned in partnership with Jason Scheetz. • Bojo has done a tremendous job siring many successful cattle with lots of substance, bone and power. • We are excited about the prospects of this young sire. His phenotype and pedigree are impeccable. He will be used heavily at Collins Cattle to generate the next generation of foundation females. Tie hard here! Bulls like this one, with this much power and maternal ability, are hard to find. Make sure to see him in the yards on display and at the Western Elite on Saturday afternoon! DUELLO CATTLE COMPANY

A Son of RubysWideOpen

Out ofMeyer Granddaughter 5059R Tattoo 200Z • Black Baldy • BW: 83 • Calved May 22, 2012 Sire: Ruby’s Wide Open Dam: 40 Guns (Meyer 734 - Maine) x Angus 297 SOLO II will be on display to represent Wide Open and his service to the sale offering.

• We just couldn’t resist bringing SOLO II to Denver, for display, at The Western Elite. We think a lot of this calf and intend to promote him and use him heavily at Duello Cattle Company. His mother is perhaps the most consistent producer of herdbull caliber cattle at Duello’s. She is a beautiful baldy Meyer 734 Granddaughter who also is the mother of Solo who was the featured Irish Whiskey son of the 2011 Western Elite we lost prior to the sale in an untimely death. 5059 was bred in the Collins herd and sold in a past Exposure, her dam was the great 297 Emulous Angus donor dam. • He is sired by Wide Open the Purebred Simmental we bought in Denver 2010. We bought Wide Open to make this kind of half bloods and he is really getting it done. This great May calf has the kind of rib shape, hip, bone and hair we want to make the next generation. He is really unique… POWER, SOUNDNESS, BALANCE, QUALITY and PEDIGREE out of a GREAT COW!

Solo Maternal brother to Solo II was slated to sell in last years sale. He died unexpectedly just before sale time. He had the same power and presenence of his maternal brother sired by Wide Open.
