August 28, 2021 Buyers and Visitors, Welcome to the 20th Annual Southern Producers Replacement Heifer Sale. Thank you for your interest in this top-quality set of females. The consignors have established a stringent set of guidelines for that each bred heifer must meet in order to be sold through this sale. Each heifer will have been palpated to confirm pregnancy within 30 days of the sale. Pelvic measurements are included
in order to reduce the risk involved in calving these heifers. Cattle have been screened for obvious defects and any other problems. If you see a problem we might have missed, please bring it to our attention before the sale. Over the past 20 years our quality has steadily improved. This year’s offering is no exception. Throughout this catalog, you will find females that conceived during a tight breeding seasons and that will sell in ideal body condition score for calving. In today's market quality and consignor reputation are very important. Service sire EPDs are part of the catalog. If it anytime you have a question, feel free to ask our consignors. They will be glad to share the information with you. Because of Brahman influence, some heifers are a little later maturing. With that said, some consignors elect to calve their heifers out as three-year olds. We allow cattle to sell that have just cut their three-year-old teeth because of that reason. These females are indicated in the catalog. Thanks for your consideration. Southern Producer Group Remington-Lott 989 Endris Road Canton, MS 39046 (601) 940-2675

These heifers are all home-raised, coming 2 years old. They were raised on our vaccination program, boostered in May 2021 with: Vira-Shield VL5 HB, Vision 20-20 (7-way clostridial with pinkeye protection), Ivermectin injectable and Safe-gard liquid wormer. They are sired by Registered Angus bulls from Sedgewood and Thames Angus, as well as Hereford bulls from McGuffee Polled Herefords. They are bred to low-birth weight Reg. Angus bulls, due to begin calving after the sale. They were raised on forages with very limited supplements at certain times and should make really good replacements.

Red Angus Cattle 170 Hwy 598 Seminary, MS 39479 601-299-1559 Facebook: Sandford Farms Red Angus Cattle For the past seven years, we have been selling heifers at the Central MS Replacement Heifer Sale in January at Raymond. This year we are glad to be a part of this fall sale here in Hattiesburg. In 2011 we purchased a small herd of registered Red Angus from Texas during the drought. The heifers here today can be traced back to that set of cows. The heifers here were all born between 10.1.19 and 11.15.19. The dams of these heifers are mostly moderate-framed, easy fleshing, highly fertile, and have a great disposition. In my opinion, these heifers have very good Red Angus genetics backing them up. Heifers: • Aged 21-22 months old • Worked twice a year since birth • Vaccines o Cydectin o Virashield o Covexin 8 • Last worked 7.2.21, Lepto and Cydectin AI Bull • AI’d to Draft Pick • Red Angus Bull from ST genetics • Calving ease and carcass Clean-up Bull • Registered Red Angus from Sandridge Farms

True two-year-old heifers. T&T Farms has been a closed herd for the past 20 years with the exception of new bulls. We keep our own replacement heifers each year and focus on buying bulls with good genetic quality. The cattle in our herd are on a strict modified-live vaccination program which includes vaccines for IBR-BVD, Hardjo bovis, lepto, and clostridia. All cows are given one round of vaccines a year with de-wormer as needed. Calves are given two rounds of modified-live IBR-BVD and clostridia vaccine. These heifers are up to date on their shots and healthy. As a certified BQA producer all cattle are handled according to Beef Quality Assurance standards and a selected for a more docile cowherd and calf crop. Heifers are AI’d to low birth weight Angus bull Black Onyx and cleaned up with Tanner Farms 453X Armory 9009. These heifers will be easy keepers as they are forage grazed only and not supplemented with feed.

Ladner x Ladner strives to provide quality Brangus and Brangus baldy replacement heifers. We enjoy raising Brangus cattle for their strong maternal characteristics and heat tolerance. Ladner x Ladner cattle are handled on a regular basis and most of the time by a different member of the Ladner x Ladner group depending on the time of the year. This desensitizes our cattle, allows for easy transferring from field along with penning and sorting and gives them an overall good disposition. With the rising cost of feed, we aim to rely on summer and winter grazing for the majority of our growth source. ➢ All heifers were A.I.’ed on December 8, 2020, to T3 Broadway, then pasture exposed to a low-birth weight Brangus bull, which is a Hollywood son.

We have a fancy set of black heifers this year for the Southern Producers Replacement Sale that will calve as true 2-year-olds. They are from a long-time base of Angus and SimAngus front end type mama cows. High wean weights and fertility are traits that are emphasized at R and K Cattle. Every heifer offered will be AI bred to low birth weight bulls such as GAR Kansas, TJ Nebraska, and Gar Reliant. Our heifers are developed on haylage, rye grass, and summer forage with limited grain. They should remain in great condition after calving with adequate winter grazing. Buy with confidence from a reputable herd of cattle and back with integrity. We appreciate your business!
