This Brahman activity will be one that you will want to be a part of that includes quality cattle shows, fellowship opportunities and this elite sale. The sale committee has worked diligently to secure some of the most outstanding genetics from the most recognized breeders in the breed for this prestigious sale.

The American Brahman breed is experiencing one of its all-time highs in demand due to the influence the breed plays in the domestic and international cattle herds. While it is easy to sit back and enjoy this success we should continue to strive to improve and remain competitive. Purchasing proven genetics to incorporate into your program is a great way to ensure continued success. We encourage you to carefully study this sale offering and consider whether there is an animal that could have a positive impact on your program.

As in past sales, we have videoed the offerings for further inspection of the cattle. The videos and sale catalog can be viewed at www.brahman.org and www.cattleinmotion.com. If you are not able to attend the sale in person, we encourage you to view and bid online with Cattle In Motion.

On the day of the sale, the Pre-Sale Cattle Viewing begins at 4:30 & ABBA Meet & Greet Sponsored by Brushy Creek Custom Sires and Elgin Breeding Services 5:30 p.m. The sale will kick off promptly at 7:00 PM in the East Arena of the NRG Center.

BIDDING: Each animal on which there are two or more bids will be sold to the highest bidder.

TERMS: All cattle will be paid for immediately after the sale. Checks must be made payable to the American Brahman Breeders Association.

SPECIAL TERMS: Due to this being a video sale not all of the consignments will be at the sale venue. If the purchased animals are not at the sale venue and able to be picked up immediately the seller will maintain the animal at no cost to the buyer for 10 days. Unless other arrangements are made between the buyer and seller after the 10th day the seller will begin charging the buyer $5.00/day for care. Animals that are sold for export must be paid for at the time of the sale. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser of these cattle for export to make arrangements with the seller for the care of the animal after the sale. The International Brahman Sale will place the cattle in the care of the consignor for the new owner at the price of $5.00 per head per day (paid by purchaser) until they are shipped.

DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters will be final.

HANDLING: As their sale is affected, all animals will be maintained at the purchaser’s risk.

BREEDERS GUARANTEE: Every animal in this sale is, to the best of the breeder’s knowledge, free from any disease and are all sound. Pregnant cows are considered breeders without further guarantee. If an animal fails to breed after a trial of six months, it may be returned to the seller in good condition. Seller reserves the right to try said animal for six months an if it proves to be a breeder, return it at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves to be a nonbreeder, an animal of comparable rank or credit on the purchase of another animal will be Offered.

HEALTH: Standard health certificates will be provided to the buyer. If animals are purchased for export the additional testing and health certificates are the responsibility of the Buyer.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalog and all other announcements.

LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the International Brahman Show & Sale and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident that may occur. The International Brahman Sale accepts no liability for the animals after they are sold.

CONTRACT: The above terms and guarantee shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller of each animal sold.
