Dear Brahman Enthusiasts:

I am extremely honored to invite you to the 2023 International Brahman Sale that will be held in conjunction with the International Brahman Show. This Brahman activity will be one that you will want to be a part of that includes quality cattle shows, fellowship opportunities, and this elite sale. I have worked diligently to secure outstanding genetics from some of the most recognized breeders in the breed for this prestigious sale. This offering will consist of show heifer prospects, pregnant recipients, aspirations, and a semen package that combines some of the breed’s most proven genetics.

The American Brahman breed is experiencing a strong demand due to the influence the breed plays in the domestic and international cattle herds. While it is easy to sit back and enjoy this success we should continue to strive to improve and remain competitive. Purchasing proven genetics to incorporate into your program is a great way to ensure continued success. I encourage you to carefully study this sale offering and consider whether there is an animal that could have a positive impact on your program.

As in past sales, we have videoed the offerings for further inspection of the cattle.

The videos and sale catalog can be viewed at www.brahman.org and www.cattleinmotion.com. If you are not able to attend the sale in person, we encourage you to view and bid online with Cattle In Motion.

On the day of the sale, the Pre-Sale Cattle Viewing & Party will begin at 5:30 PM and the sale will start promptly at 7:00 PM. All of the sale activities will be held at NRG Center (the same venue as the show) with the actual sale being held in the East Arena.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

BIDDING: Each animal on which there are two or more bids will be sold to the highest bidder.

TERMS: All cattle will be paid for immediately after the sale. Checks must be made payable to the American Brahman Breeders Association.

SPECIAL TERMS: All live animals selling will be at the sale and sold via video. The pregnant recipients will not be at the sale venue but can be picked up immediately after the sale. The seller will maintain the recipient at no cost to the buyer for 10 days. Unless other arrangements are made between the buyer and seller after the 10th day the seller will begin charging the buyer $5.00/day for care.

Animals that are sold for export must be paid for at the time of the sale. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser of these cattle for export to make arrangements with the seller for the care of the animal after the sale. The International Brahman Sale will place the cattle in the care of the consignor for the new owner at the price of $5.00 per head per day (paid by purchaser) until they are shipped.

DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters will be final.

HANDLING: As their sale is affected, all animals will be maintained at the purchaser’s risk.

BREEDERS GUARANTEE: Every animal in this sale is to the best of the

breeder’s knowledge free from any disease and are all sound. If an animal fails to breed after a trial of six months, it may be returned to the seller in good condition. Seller reserves the right to try said animal for six months and if it proves to be a breeder, return it at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves to be a non-breeder, an animal of comparable rank or credit on the purchase of another animal will be offered.

HEALTH: Standard health certificates will be provided to the buyer. If animals are purchased for export the additional testing and health certificates are the responsibility of the buyer.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalog and all other announcements.

LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the International Brahman Show & Sale and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident that may occur. The International Brahman Sale accepts no liability for the animals after they are sold.

CONTRACT: The above terms and guarantee shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller of each animal sold.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation of cattle can be arranged.
