Copper Mine is no stranger to the winner’s circle as he was named Grand Champion Chianina bull at the 2012 Junior National as well as Grand Champion Chianina bull at the 2012 Indiana State Fair. The sire of WCC Copper Mine was the 2011 Reserve Grand Champion Chiangus bull as well as the 2010 late Jr. Bull calf champion at the North American and 2012 Junior Champion bull at Ft. Worth. The dam of Copper Mine is a half-sister to the 2009 National Champion Charolais Female and Grand Champion at the Indiana State Fair. She produced an $11,500 steer calf that sold in the Four Roses online sale this fall as well as produced the intermediate Champion Chi heifer at the 2012 Indiana State Fair. The dam of Copper Mine himself was the 2010 Champion Charolais heifer at the Indiana State Fair, Kentucky Beef Expo and the Rebel Show Down. What else can we say about this young sire? The proof is all here!
WCC President is not only amazing to look at but he has a pedigree with more power and dollar generating potential than any other in the sale. President’s sire, CJ Prestige 25T, was the 2009 Reserve National Champion Angus bull in Denver and was the first Angus bull in history to win his division in Denver as a calf, yearling and 2 year old. CJ Prestige was also the 2009 and 2010 Champion Angus bull at the Indiana State Fair. President’s dam is sired by the famous WRL Tracken Norman the 2007-2008 National Champion Chiangus bull as well as the Grand Champion at both the Indiana State Fair and the World Beef Expo. Tracken Norman was the first Chiangus bull to be leased by ABS. Study this one top to bottom and you will see the value he holds, not to mention he is ready to go to work.

What an opportunity here!! Serious Chiangus enthusiasts, junior exhibitors and anyone who likes great cattle take note. These three Chiangus females are right off the top of the 2012 ChiAngus heifer calf crop and we have been saving them for Denver! Z201 is a maternal sister to Hannah Winegardner’s heifer sired by Ace that won Junior Nationals and Reserve at the NAILE in 2010, and sired by the legendary RDD Tommy Boy. The Tommy Boy females have stood the test of Dam of 22B & 22C time being some of our very best producers in our herd as well as many other top herds. This female has what it takes to win big in the show ring against any breeds and win big in the donor pen! She has the perfect front end, flawless structure, great square hip and all the rib shape and volume in the world! 20Z and 150Z are full sisters out of the same flush. They are sired by the popular Angus bull SAV RITO 9969 and the Chiangus Champion producing machine, and our herd Matriarch RDD Wiggles 1P. Wiggles herself has been the most dominant dam in the Chiangus circle for the past several years, having produced the 2011 Champion Female at Junior Nationals, the Champion Female at the NAILE in 2011 and the Champion pen of 3 females at NWSS in 2011 to go along with a long list of Division Champions and sale toppers . These two full sibs are flat good, and honestly we shouldn’t be selling them and wouldn’t be if we didn’t have two more in the replacement pen. They both have what it takes to be seriously campaigned through any show ring, anywhere. They have cow written all over them with being extremely feminine, elegant in their design, sound structured with just the right amount of muscle. We know what the Wiggles progeny do and these are destined for that same success. Unfortunately Mother Nature didn’t allow for 20Z and 150Z to be pictured in time for catalog, however, keep checking our website holtbroscattle.com or on Holt Bros facebook page for updates. Last year in Bellar’s sale an I Am Legend X 8N commanded an $11,000 price tag and there were other maternal brothers sold in pasture sales including a $21,750 I Am Legend X 8N to Vickland’s that was a multiple time champion, a $17,500 I Am Legend X 8N sold to Guyer and Caldwell and also a $7,500 Mossy Oak X 8N sold to Pryor. This deadly duo of heifers will show and even better yet, make awesome donor cows. Snag these up and you will be sitting pretty!

The Monopoly daughters are leaving their mark in the show ring and the donor pen and we think this one will be a great candidate for both. Kandy is nice made with plenty of look and structural correctness. Come take a look for yourself and you will see the potential in this female. Lot 26

This is a big time opportunity now matter how it pans out. We split flushed donor 31G to E Mail and SAV Final Answer so the eggs could be either mating but we won’t know until they are born. The embryos by E Mail would be full sibs to the popular cornerstone Chiangus donor at BPF named FBF Ms Mail Me 055M. This donor has produced tons of dollars in progeny and genetics sales and not to mention a few winners along the way. If the eggs by SAV Final Answer are what we have then they will be full sibs to the $19,000 high selling Chiangus at Bushy Parks October sale. If you did not see her I will tell you she was a crowd favorite of many. Flip the coin on this one and you will be money ahead no matter what! Bushy Park Farms

055M left her mark again this year in the BPF pasture sale in September with one Monopoly daughter selling for $9,250 and several others selling for a premium in the sale as well. Last year 2 daughters sold that were sired by SLC Sooner. One daughter sold as lot 31 and sold for $6,750 and the other sold as lot 35 and commanded a price of $8,500. Prior to last year 055M also produced a $7,500 steer that was sold to Guyer and an $11,000 steer sold to the Alexander family of Ohio, both sired by Heat Wave. This mating by Monopoly is as close to a sure thing as it gets.
