SCHACHER AUCTION SERVICES Robert Schacher 817-219-0102 PO Box 33804, Fort Worth, Texas 76162 rob@schacherauction.com • www.schacherauction.com

Dear Cattle Breeders and Wagyu Enthusiasts, 2022 marks the 13th consecutive Texas Wagyu Association’s “The Steaks are High” Spring Production Sale. I am proud to have been a part of it from the beginning, and I am excited to present this year’s sale. In the time since we started this sale, the Wagyu Breed has made tremendous strides in improving the quality beef available in the United States. You will find Wagyu Beef in most high-end Restaurants and Butcher shops across North America. Furthermore, the average beef consumer has shifted from buying whatever they can find in the grocery store to a more educated consumer that is demanding top quality product. In addition, they want to know how their beef is raised and where it comes from, and nobody embraces this more than the Wagyu Producer. Farm to table marketing over the internet, the farmers market and direct marketing to local restaurants has become the mainstream. The benefits and quality the Wagyu breed offers makes this sustainable. Wagyu cattle in the United States have made exponential improvements in both phenotype and predictability over the years. The use of data, EPD’s/EBV,s and progeny testing has truly moved Wagyu into the next generation of cattle production. The cattle offered in this sale are a great representative of the strides made by Wagyu breeders. You will find that there is something for any Wagyu breeder presented in this sale. We look forward to seeing you on April 22-23, 2022, at Tenroc Ranch in beautiful Salado, TX. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely,

Robert Schach er

The sire of this lot was a top selling bull at a past TWA Steaks are high sale. This sire’s direct dam was a $20,000 selling female from Lone Mountain Ranch. His sire is Kitaguni Jr, a Fujiyoshi and Shimane bull. When breeders cross this bull on Tajima heifers, they’ll see calves with increased frame size and enhanced growth and they have marbling that range from Prime + to prime +++. In turn this sire is very balanced and when it comes to phenotype, 7114E is as good as they come. The dam here in this lot adds another punch of growth and maternal traits through Itomichi ½ who is also a featured sire in 7114E’s pedigree. We couple Itomichi ½ with Takazakura and Fukutsuru-068 to keep this balance trending. It is all about growth and marbling! This double registered female has an excellent set of EBVs that demonstrates this balance.

This female’s maternal grandsire is the great Michifuku to give us an added dose of carcass power. Her lineage is very strong in Takeda genetics, especially from the original, foundation sires. The Takeda bulls found in her maternal pedigree include Kikuhana, Terutani, Yukiharunami, and Itohana. This gives this heifer a powerful base to breed from and should afford her many years of profitability. Add the fact that she’s polled makes this package a game changer. We were so pleased with our 1st two L10 x 6328D offspring, we decided to pair a similar sire N4431 with her. When asked about 301H, Jerry Reeves of Bar R said, “sometimes we find out almost too late how great a cow is, and 301H is one of those cows”. Take your herd and wagyu breeding to the top! Be one of the first in the N. America to acquire this top 1% world leading wagyu semen TYDDEWI N4451. A review of the April 2022BREEDPLAN will show that he is top 1% in all four Selection Indexes including WBI (+$274) SRI (+$281), FTI (+$249), and F1TI (+$228). On individual traits, he hits on four profit drivers with top 5% ratings on Marble Score (+2.2) and Eye Muscle Area (+6.2), and top 10%rating on Carcass Weight (+41) and Marble Fineness (+0.30). A search of BREEDPLAN for sires with those four profit driver levels reflects only two top sires –N4451 and Mayura L0010. N4451 shows 120 progeny and 68 progeny analyzed. In the December 2021, Wagyu on the Vegas Strip Sale (Lot 77), this leading bull semen sold for $1,800 a straw. N4451 is from the high-ranking son of the breed, leading sire Mayura Itoshigenami JNR. Itoshigenami JNR semen is currently not available on the market and recently 2 straws sold in the 2021 Mayura Sale for $70,000 (AUD) per straw! His sire, Mayura Itoshigenami JNR carries elite high reliability EBVs because of his superior carcass data. In the Mayura Station herd, he has averaged a 9.05 MS, 448 kg (986 lbs. ) HCW, and 109.0 cm2 (16.9 in 2) EMA on an astounding 805 carcass harvested at just 26 months. This makes TYDDEWI N4451 a unique combination of elite Mayura Station and Westholme bloodlines. Through his dam Westholme J0147, he receives growth and carcass traits from the top Westholme lines of Yoshifuji 8 and Yamafuji. These are two high Shimane influenced (through Dai 7 Itozakura) Westholme foundation cows. The combination of the growth of these Westholme lines with the carcass traits of Itoshigenami JNR produces the massive genomic figures of +2.2for MS, +6.2for EMA, +41for Carcass Wt, and +$281Self Replacing Index. These figures spell PROFIT for any breeder, backgrounder, feedlotter, or retailer! This is your opportunity to add world leading value to any breeding program or branded beef operation. This is identical breeding to the more familiar. Compared to N4431 with the common F11C, this N4451 sire does not carry the known and familiar recessive of JNR. **Bidders in the USA may bid on this Bull, he is scheduled to arrive in 60 days. Winning bidder will be invoiced at that time.B3F, CHSF, CL16C, F11F, F13F, IARSF.

formed. The biodegradable matrix solidifies in vivo to form an in situ forming gel, which allows a gradual release of eprinomectin from the formulation. The rate-limiting step is diffusion of the drug through the gel matrix. Because of its mechanism of release, absorption characteristics can be highly dependent upon the injection technique used and the corresponding surface to volume ratio of the gel. Clinical efficacy of avermectins and milbemycins is closely related to their pharmacokinetic behavior, and the time of parasite exposure to active drug concentrations is relevant to obtain optimal and persistent antiparasitic activity (Lanusse et al., 1997; Lifschitz et al., 1999; Lifschitz et al., 2004; Shoop et al., 1996). Lifschitz et al. (1999) indicated that plasma concentrations between 0.5 and 1 ng/mL would represent the minimal drug level required for optimal nematocidal activity, while others have suggested minimum levels of 1 to 2 ng/mL. Pharmacokinetic studies of LONGRANGE in cattle indicate that effective plasma levels remain for an extended period of time (at least 100 days).

Mode of Action The macrocyclic lactones have a unique mode of action. Compounds of this class bind selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels that are present in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This leads to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions with hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cell, resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite. Compounds of this class may also interact in other ligand-gated chloride ion channels, such as those gated by the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The margin of safety for compounds of this class is at least partially attributable to the fact that mammals do not have glutamate-gated chloride ion channels, and that the macrocyclic lactones have low affinity for other mammalian ligand-gated channels and do not readily cross the blood-brain barrier.

TARGET ANIMAL SAFETY Clinical studies have demonstrated the wide margin of safety of LONGRANGE® (eprinomectin). Overdosing at 3 to 5 times the recommended dose resulted in a statistically significant reduction in average weight gain when compared to the group tested at label dose. Treatment-related lesions observed in most cattle administered the product included swelling, hyperemia, or necrosis in the subcutaneous tissue of the skin. The administration of LONGRANGE at 3 times the recommended therapeutic dose had no adverse reproductive effects on beef cows at all stages of breeding or pregnancy or on their calves. Not for use in bulls, as reproductive safety testing has not been conducted in males intended for breeding or actively breeding. Not for use in calves less than 3 months of age because safety testing has not been conducted in calves less than 3 months of age.

Studies indicate that when eprinomectin comes in contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time. Free eprinomectin may adversely affect fish and certain aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate water by direct application or by improper disposal of drug containers. Dispose of containers in an approved landfill or by incineration. As with other avermectins, eprinomectin is excreted in the dung of treated animals and can inhibit the reproduction and growth of pest and beneficial th insects that use dung as a source of food and for reproduction. The magnitude and duration of such effects are species and life-cycle specific. When used according to label directions, the product is not expected to have an adverse impact on populations of dung-dependent insects. Not for use in cattle managed in feedlots or under intensive rotational grazing because the environmental impact has not been evaluated for these scenarios.

Chisholm Cattle Co. produced 4 bulls from Rueshaw and their great Umemaru daughter, JC Ms Umemaru 30. All 4 bulls were outstanding specimens. Rueshaw 75, one of the 4, scanned prime at the Houston Livestock Show as a yearling. The next year as a 2 year old at the the same show, he scanned prime again which is extremely rare. This same bull recently sold for $250,000. Sadly, 3 of the 4 bulls have limited carcass data reported. However, Rueshaw II has approximately 800 carcasses reported which were graded by a carcass camera with results of 96% mid-prime (bms 9) and high prime (bms 10-12) at under 25 months of age making him the most proven of the 4 bulls. He is now a 2,250 lb bull Rueshaw II will put reliable marbling, structure and disposition in your Akaushi/Red Wagyu herds. He has become one of the leading bulls in the Akaushi breed for set marbling and phenotype proven by several of his progeny winning Grand Champion in both Houston and Denver livestock shows. This is a golden opportunity to secure what has all the earmarks of turning into a limited supply of his semen as he was syndicated 3 years ago for over $100,000.

073H also known as “Mr Universe” has led the world for Profit since his Genomic EBV’s were produced at two months of age. He has not only stood out in BREEDPLAN but on the hoof with tremendous performance, length of body, and extra body depth with a bold spring of rib. In January, when researching the data we noticed “Mr Universe 073H” was the #1 best $WBI, $SRI bull in the WORLD (BREEDPLAN) and the #1 best $WBI, $SRI and $FBTI bull in North America. “Mr Universe 073H” is a generational breeding tool that will transform efficiency in the Wagyu industry. His genetics are worth more than new trucks and tractors to a cattle operation and potential semen sales alone only add to his value. Add the genomic-leading, high-dollar progeny that are sure to come and “Mr Universe 073H” is worth the farm. “Mr Universe 073H” is the #1 best $WBI, #1 best $SRI, #1 best $FBTI and 2nd best $F1TI bull in this sale. In addition, he has the #1 Carcass Weight, #8 Marble Score and #8 Marble Fineness values in this sale. He ranks better than the top 1% of the breed for 200 Day Weight, 400 Day Weight, 600 Day Weight, MCW, Carcass Weight, $WBI, $SRI, $FBTI, and $F1TI while delivering top 5% Marbling genetics. In the February “Fill the Tank Shootout” sale, “Mr Universe 073H” semen sold for $2600 per unit and surpassed the value of his sire L10, whose semen sold for $2100 per unit. Do the math! There is an extraordinary potential to make lots of money and improve the breed. “Mr Universe 073H” is a legend in the making and is FREE of all genetic disorders. “Mr Universe 073H” is the only U.S.A. born bull to ever lead the $Profit Indexes in BREEDPLAN. Available in the US and Canada.
