Myself, along with the great board of directors, are very honoured to welcome each and everyone to the 2022 LMAC convention and Canadian livestock auctioneer championship. As we have all missed the last couple years, let’s all take advantage of this time together and enjoy the weekend. The 36 Auctioneers this year will give a great line-up of talent and stiff competition. Best of luck to all! A huge thank you goes out to Brent Brooks and the entire organizing crew for the work they have done. The management and staff of Northern Livestock Sales would like to welcome everyone to the 41st Annual LMAC Convention and the 23rd Canadian Livestock Auctioneering Championships. Thirty-six of the top livestock auctioneers from across Canada will vie for the Canadian Championship title this year followed by the annual convention. The year’s convention has a host of guest speakers that will address market trends and analysis, social media and the future of the auction markets. CFIA will discuss Transfer of Care documents and transportation issues. NLS would like to express their gratitude to LMAC, LMS and the remainder of the provincial organizations for representing their members and livestock producers at p the national and provincial levels. They have respectfully addressed issues pertaining th to livestock transport, traceability, animal welfare and occupational safety to name a to few.
