GREETINGS FROM COMPETITION CHAIRMAN RICK WRIGHT

It is such a pleasure to welcome everyone to the 23rd Canadian Auctioneering Championships. Due to COVID-19, it has been two very long years since our last competition. This year brings competitors from across the Canada who are here to showcase their talents, but also to network with other auctioneers. Some will get tips from the past champions and make new friends who will last a lifetime. Others will take the opportunity to catch up with old friends.

This is the first time LMAC has hosted its event in Northwestern Saskatchewan. Working with Brent Brooks and his crew has been a pleasure. The Brooks family and their staff have turned the Lloydminster market into one of Saskatchewan’s fastest growing markets. Their hard work and hands-on approach has been the blueprint for success.

Without the support of our sponsors from across the country, we would not be able to host such a high-class event. A big thanks to the auctioneers who travel to compete, the judges and the host of volunteers, many of whom you will probably never notice, working behind the scenes.
