Page 1

Welcome On behalf of the National Board and the Canadian Charolais Youth Association, we would like to welcome everyone to the 2022 Conference and Show in Renfrew, ON. The planning committee has been working hard to make sure that this year’s conference is one you won’t forget! We’re very excited to be hosting the conference in Renfrew this year and are looking forward to spending the week in such beautiful facilities. Welcome to all new CCYA members! I hope you enjoy your first conference! Remember that the National Board members, as well as all conference attendees would be happy to help answer any questions you have. This will be a great week so get ready to enjoy it! We would also like to thank our sponsors for the show this year. Without your support, this conference would not be possible. Also, thanks to the Ontario Charolais Youth planning committee, who has put a lot of hard work into the 2022 conference. We hope everyone has a fantastic week in Renfrew making memories with friends, new and old! Goodluck to all the youth members this week!

Haley Rosso National Board President Canadian Charolais Youth Association On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of the Canadian Charolais Association, we would like to welcome all participants and parents to the 2022 Canadian Charolais Youth Association Conference in Renfrew. The CCYA Conference was created many years ago to promote education and to develop leadership to supply the tools to help our future breeders succeed. This annual summer event has also proven to develop friendships that will last a lifetime. Today, within the CCA membership, there are many successful breeders that are graduates from CCYA and are doing business with other breeders who they developed a relationship with and became friends through the CCYA program. As time passes, the memory of who won will fade but the memories of the fun and friendships will continue to grow. The Board and staff of the CCA would like to congratulate the volunteer organizing committee, the CCYA board and all the sponsors for their generous support. Thank you to all who put in countless hours to make this the great event it is.

Craig Scott General Manager Canadian Charolais Association

On behalf of the Ontario CCYA Planning Committee, I would like to welcome you to Renfrew, Ontario for the 2022 CCYA Conference and Show! Our planning committee has been hard at work to get everything organized and ready for the conference. We are excited to welcome you and hope everyone has a fun and successful week here in Renfrew. We would also like to thank our sponsors who have made this week possible. If there are any questions throughout the week don’t hesitate to ask any member of the planning committee!

Keith and Karen have two wonderful children, Courtney, and Tyson both of which have continued to be involved in the Charolais industry by attending 14 conferences to date.
