Announcements from the Auction Block take precedence over the sale terms and any other printed material.

1. Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) and Johnstone Auction Mart provide a venue for the sale and assume no liability for either the buyer or the seller. Information provided in the catalogue is provided by the seller. CWA and Johnstone Auction Mart cannot guarantee the accuracy of the statements made in the catalogue. 2. Provincial COVID-19 rules will be enforced including monitoring capacity of the facility, social distancing, hand sanitization and wearing of masks as legislated by government. These rules will be posted on CWA and Johnstone Auction Mart websites prior to the sale. Please check prior to attending the facility. 3. All potential buyers are encouraged to view the cattle and talk to the exhibitors: Friday, November 28, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at Johnstone Auction Mart, Moose Jaw, SK. 4. We strongly encourage buyers to bid on-line live through DLMS, register here. 5. No claim for injury to any person or property shall ever be asserted nor suit instituted or maintained against Agribition or Johnstone Auction Mart, its offices or agents, by or on behalf of any visitor, or any person, firm, or corporation or their agents, representatives, or employees, having license or privilege to exhibit in the area or occupying any space thereon. 6. PAYMENTS: Payment must be made in full immediately following the sale. Cheques only accepted. Buyers using a credit facility such as a Breeder/Feeder Association, FCC, or Bank must have a letter of authorization or purchase order indicating the maximum amount to be purchased, along with any other conditions required by the creditor sent to CWA at least 2 days prior to the auction. E-mail: csentes@agribition.com. If the cattle must be branded with the creditor's brand, bring the branding iron with you so branding can be done before the cattle leave. 7. Catalogue is not listed in sale order. Sale order will be available Friday, November 27. 8. Cattle become the responsibility of the buyer after purchase. 9. Cattle must be picked up Saturday, November 28 following the sale unless previous arrangements are made with CWA. 10. Trucking insurance available at time of purchase. 11.All heifers will be sold by the dollar. 12.All open heifers will be preconditioned. 13.Bred heifers will be pregnancy tested prior to the sale (within 45 days), with the proper CWA Standardized Veterinary Certificates to accompany the cattle.

They graze until mid Feb then winter on only hay bales. We do not contend with poor feet & legs, bad udders or attitudes. These are culled with no exception. With a very short breeding program, 85+% of the cows are in the calving pen for less than a month so they are on pasture for 11 months of the year. They get some bales but there's no silage, no mixer wagon or even a bale shredder at this place. And there's no excuses made for bad feet, legs, udders or attitudes. The cow herd consists of Simmental X Red Angus F1s from the Scott & Calla Blair family at Drake Saskatchewan. Simmental bulls from Sunny Valley have been carefully sourced and purchased over the recent years to be herd sires. The steer calves are usually sold right off the cow in early Dec weighing in the 750 lb range.
