On behalf of DART Simmentals and KWIATKOWSKI Cattle we would like to welcome everyone to our 5th annual bull sale.
With Covid finally behind us we’ve decided to move the sale back to its original location at the Goodridge Hall. Like the first year we had the sale at the hall, the bulls will be on site for viewing. The sale will be held indoors, with bulls being displayed on video screen. After last year’s sale, which happened to be in the middle of a snowstorm that prevented numerous clientele from attending the sale, we are excited to have DLMS joining us this year in order to accommodate all of our clientele.
Like any evolving program the quality of our stock is broadening every year and that is why I believe this year’s offerings are the best we’ve brought to town, by sticking to our roots, these bulls have been fed the same as previous year’s. Our bulls might not be the heaviest bulls you see sell this year but our feed program promotes natural growth and longevity. With over 50% of our customers being repeat buyers from year to year, it is a true testament to our breeding and developing program.
We have numerous bulls to offer that will fill all requirements. From 2 year olds that will go out and cover them extras cows for you, to performance yearlings that will add extra pounds to your calf crop in the fall, all the way to easy calving bulls that will be great candidates for your heifer pen. The quality and diversity of this group of bulls is what we strive for as breeders.
We would like to welcome each and everyone of you to evaluate the bulls we have on offer at the new sale location on March 12, 2023 at 1PM for beef on a bun and refreshments with the sale to follow at 2PM.
Sincerely,
Ryan KwiatkowskiDART Simmentals

One of three Ponderosa sons in this sale and let me tell you this is why we teamed up with DART Simmentals to purchase his sire from the South Holden dispersal in 2019. He is long bodied, deep sided and has an extremely attractive appeal. Be sure you don’t miss out on this guy.

Another great Ponderosa son that carries himself quite well. His long body, moderate frame, and solid foot makes him travel nice and true. His maternal sister is one of the top females in our herd and you can expect he will do the same when it comes to producing females.
202J is extremely long built and big footed. His dam is the cow that started it all for us producing top end females and bulls that never dissapoint. Being the only black Ponderosa bull on offer you definitly will not want to miss out on this guy.

As everybody knows our fullblood program is small in numbers, but here is a true representation of their quality. Wide topped, and as soggy as they come, with the added benefit of being smooth polled, a bull that should never be leaving the farm but he is related to every fullblood cow on the farm. One the best bulls ever raised out of the DART’s program.

A great herd sire prospect that comes out of my favorite cow in the herd. He is a long built and smoothed topped bull, he carries himself very well. His dam 61Z has progeny working all of Alberta which makes this guy ever more promising.

If your looking to expand your herd by keeping quality replacement heifers, look no further. Kaboom’s dam has raised us some of our best replacement heifers to date and judging by her youthful look there will be many more to come.
Another LRX Rocket son is our only other Fullblood bull on offer this year. As you can see, these Rocket sons don’t dissapoint. A long bodied, big hip, solid footed, easy moving bull and out of a dam I would build a herd on.

Red performance herd bull here on offer. Long straight backed and very smooth on travel. 201K comes out of our red foundation cow that helped make our herd and has two daughters and granddaughters currently working, and producing top quality animals. Be sure to keep every female out of this guy.

This calf was expected to be held for a two year old because of his young age, but after weaning, he performed as good as any bull in the pen. He was sired by our Hiccup bull who worked well for us on heifers. However, because of his powerful cow family I wouldn’t recommend him on heifers, but this Kid will let you sleep easy and still provide performance on a mature cow herd.
This is Ty’s (My Son’s) calf , he bought his dam out of the Transcon Red & Black sale in 2020 from Ty-D Livestock. A super friendly dam that passed her easy going traits on to her son. Ample calving ease, and still lots of perfomance, a bull that has the capabilities to be utilized from heifers to any cow type.

Here’s a bull that his picture doesn’t do him justice. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover and with this bull that saying stands true. His EPD’s say it all with a CE of 13.4 and MILK of 36.5 and when you see him in person he will earn your respect.

In my opinion a bull with endless potential. His dam 30C stems from our Coconuter Cow Family which is one of our foundation families. A bull to keep every female out of and when you get a steer calf that he is likely to wean off at 700lbs. I’ll take a Krack at that any day of the week.

After trying to aquire a State of War son to utilize on my Puerbred cows to no avail, I decided to AI a handful of cows to State of War. From a small birthweight to a huge weaning weight, the State of War son’s are not to be surpassed. Unfortunatly Kronk’s dam died 2 days after giving birth, and he was adopted to another first time calver, these genetics speak for themselves.
One of the last Rocky (BLCC Red Rock 60E) sons that we will offer for sale as we lost Rocky last year. I believe Kicker offers the same qualities as his sire. We purchased Rocky for his calving ease and his maternal capabilities and he lived up to our expectations.

CCLT ALLIANCE 91C BROOKS SHINIA 1A DAM: MRL MISS 9401G
MISS 7484E
Here is a bull that ended up at the end of sale order through no fault of his own. A typical Connected son, performance with the money stripe. For a change I wanted to end the sale on a high note and if Kegger won’t do it no one will.
