Welcome to our 2nd annual JW Cattle Corp. bull sale! Big Thanks to all our past and present customers, you are the reason our program has been successful for the past 27 years. Our goal has been to raise purebred and commercial cattle that will go on to work for our customers.
In 2011 we changed our program to April/May calving and selling 2 Year old bulls. We did this with longevity in mind, allowing time for bull development, stricter culling for feet, temperament and performance. We are extremely happy with the bulls we have to offer this year. This year we have a few new sire groups. Our herdsires are selected from top females and sires from reputable angus programs.
We would encourage you to give us a call about the offering and stop by the farm anytime before the sale and we invite you to the open house on February 21st for supper and refreshments at the farm. If you are unable to bid online or don’t feel comfortable doing so, feel free to call Myself or Mark from OBI to assist you.

All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions set forth by the Canadian Angus Association.
Right To Collect Semen. JW Cattle Corp. retains the right to collect semen on any bull in our offering for in-herd use only. Will be done at our expense and the new owner’s convenience.
Bulls can remain on farm until the beginning of April 2022. Purchasing insurance for bulls is strongly recommended to protect your investment. Bulls are left entirely at the risk of the purchaser after they are sold. Scrotal Measurements will be available 2 weeks prior to the sale. Invoices will be e-mailed to all buyers by JW Cattle Corp. following the sale. Full payment, unless other arrangements have been made, is required by cash or cheque payable in Canadian funds or e-transfer to jwcattle@mcsnet.ca. Customers who pick up bulls within 7 days of purchase will receive $100 off the purchase price of the bull.
We will deliver bulls free of charge to Alberta and Central Points in SK & BC.
JW Cattle Corp. guarantees to sell you a bull that is structurally sound and has passed a semen test conducted by a licensed veterinarian. Should any bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value. Should this not be possible, an adjustment will be made to reflect the bull in question as a credit towards the purchase of another bull. We do not warranty against mismanagement or injury/ illness after the sale and recommend insurance for this purpose. Call us right away if there is a problem and we will work with you to get your females bred.

1.Visit dlms.ca and follow the link to the DLMS FarmGate timed auction site www. farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots or someone challenges your proxy bid and this is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number.
2. You can choose your favourite lots in this sale at this time and the program will allow you to open either all sale lots or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity.
3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This in fact protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest.
4. At closing time of the sale the entire sale will extend bidding if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after close time will extend the sale by the time listed on each sale. In Most cases the time gets shorter the longer in to extended bidding the sale is. When no bidding occurs for the extended time the computer will declare the sale finished.
5. Following the sale the Owner or Sale Manager will invoice all buyers in the sale, please contact the seller with questions or to arrange delivery, pick up or shipping of your purchases.
