Welcome to the first annual North 42 Cattle Company Salers Bull and Female Sale.
My name is Jennifer Barnfield and along side my husband Heath, we’re proud to call Teepee Creek, AB home. Together, we operate North 42 Cattle Company, specializing in both commercial and purebred Salers cattle. From haying to feeding, calving to bull selection, we take great pride in raising quality cattle that represent the best of our herd. Over the past few years, we’ve stepped into the show ring with our bulls, honing our grooming and showing techniques and building new connections within the cattle community.
Our passion for farming is deeply rooted in family tradition. Heath’s parents, Keith and Judy, were the ones who introduced the family to cattle farming, and their guidance continues to shape the way we care for our animals today. Our son, Alexander, along with his wife Kenzie and our grandson William, and our daughter Madalyn and her boyfirend Ty Kern are also key members of the team. We’re blessed to have the support of extended family, friends and neighbors, who never hesitate to lend a hand when it’s needed. We’re incredibly grateful for the community that surrounds us and are proud to carry on the legacy of cattle farming for future generations.
At the heart of it all is a shared love for this lifestyle. The long days, the cold winters, and the busy calving seasons are all part of the rewarding journey we’re on. Farming isn’t just a job for us - it’s who we are, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are very excited to host our first annual Salers Bull and Female Sale, a milestone that marks the next chapter in our journey.

Semen Rights
We reserve the right to collect semen on any of the sale bulls for in-herd use only. If you have any questions, please contact us.
100% Guarantee
Should any sale bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder or be unable to physically service a cow or heifer, barring injury or mismanagement, a bull of equal value will be provided or a credit will be issued towards the purchase of another bull.
Health
& Fertility
All bulls over 12 months of age will be semen tested. All bulls will be scrotal measured and vet examined. All bulls were treated with Ivomec and have received all their vaccinations.
Buyer Volume Discount
Buyers who purchase 3 or more bulls will receive a 5% discount. The volume purchase must be from the same farm for the discount to apply.
Prior to sale, sale animals are available for viewing at the ranch, anytime. We’re always here!
Bull Development Option
North 42 Cattle Company will keep the animals, free of charge, until April 1, 2025. Buyers will need to insure their animals while under the care of the consigner.
Pick Up & Delivery
All animals will remain on the farm after the sale and be delivered anywhere in the Peace region and to central locations free of charge. Anywhere outside of this will be shared costs of the buyer and seller. We will do our utmost to deliver right to your yard. We will start delivery shortly after the sale date, so please have a spot ready for your animal as we try to make full trailer loads when delivering.
