Welcome to our 12th Annual Bull Sale at the farm. We would like to thank you for your interest in our program and invite you to look at our offering anytime.

This year we feel we have a great selection of Bulls in both white and red factor. This is one of the quietest set of bulls we have had, I am sure you can walk up and scratch any of them. We also have three exciting new sire groups on offer.

We added Sparrows Shooter 6H for the heifer pen, who has exceeded all our expectations with the calves being consistently small at birth with lots of vigour, then grow like crazy with terrific weaning weights with extra middle, heavy haired and added muscle shape.

The next new addition to our bull battery was Steppler’s Great White 4H which we purchased with Lakeview Charolais to add performance, soundness and maternal power. The Great Whites calves are small at birth with extra frame and performance, added length and hair, along good feet and legs and great dispositions. Great White got injured this summer so we will be using one of his feature sons in the sale in our AI program.

New on the Red side of things we used our 2021 high seller Pro-Char Diamondback 113H who sold to Steppler Farms, MB and Quick Silver Charolais in Australia. We are very happy with the results and we feel that the Diamondback progeny adequately represent the top of the red factor Charolais market. These bulls will add performance, depth, rib, length, along with maternal power. If you are looking for top quality red factor Charolais that will cover ground then look no further!

Delivery & Board:

We will deliver the bulls free of charge to central points in Alberta, and will arrange trucking anywhere else at minimal costs. We offer free board until April 1, 2022. Bulls staying at the farm, Insurance is recommended as the bulls become your risk as soon as hammer falls. All bulls left after April 1, 2022 will be charged $3.00/day. Take your Bull sale day and we will take $100 off of the purchase price.

Volume Discount:

3 Bulls or more purchased will receive a 5% Discount on the Purchase Price.

Payment:

The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par at sale location on sale day.

Semen testing:

All bulls will be scrotal measured and semen evaluated.

Right to Draw Semen

Pro-Char reserve the right to draw semen on any of the sale offering for in herd use only, this will be at the sellers expense and at the owners convenience.

Retained Interest

Pro-Char may retain revenue semen interests or partial walking rights on some bulls in the sale. Check out the sale day sheet for any updates or call David.

If you are looking for a super correct red factor bull with low birthweight and extra growth then look no further! This is a calf that may be the best put together bull in the pen. He is from a beautiful young female with lots of milk and a perfect udder. Wolfgang is an easy fleshing bull with added performance, depth and width. Rugged made with that herd bull look. He will sire calves with extra growth that will tip the scales year after year! Super attractive herd bull prospect that has stood out his entire life.

An all around top quality herd bull that is extremely difficult to fault. Rockefeller is long bodied with a wide top, great spring of rib and extra length. Great feet and free moving with a great hair coat. He is out of one of the nicest young cows in the herd, who has a great udder and feet with added body.
