“Everything comes together in a satisfying theatrical and musical bundle.”

– Arizona Republic

Each of us has a voice. We use our voice daily as a source of primary communication, and whether or not you consciously study how you use your voice, you are an expert on your own instrument. Your family and friends immediately hear the cadence and emotion of your voice—at work or home, in public and private settings, over

T h e 2 0 14 / 1 5 S e a s o n the phone or in person—and you become adept at telling stories that matter to you. We share stories to connect us to the past, to form bonds with each other, to acknowledge that we are not alone, and to create shared hope for a brighter future. The heart of Arizona Opera’s mission is to find stories that matter, stories that will help connect us to people in communities across our state and beyond. We give everything we have to bring these stories to life through the power of music and the human voice. We are excited when we find ourselves in these stories and in these songs—we are even more gratified when you do too! At Arizona Opera, we tell stories worth singing. This season, we offer five amazing stories in six languages. These carefully chosen stories resound with our purpose as a company, and we hope our voices resonate with you.
