We are proud to say that our entire range of traditional upright style bicycles are designed by our creative design team in Copenhagen, Denmark, recognised as the cycling capital of the world with a unique cycling/bicycle heritage. At VELORBIS® we value simplicity combined with streamlined, elegant design. You will find neither stickers nor plastic components on a VELORBIS® bicycle – only the distinctive, embossed lion crest crafted from chromed aluminium reveals that you are the proud owner of a VELORBIS® bicycle. We are true to our values when we say, “It’s amazing, it’s fantastic - not a single piece of plastic.”
Our German production site, and a flexible and market-leading supplier base, enable us to offer ‘best in class’ bicycles that are nothing less than the highest quality on the market today. We use premium components sourced in Europe such as BROOKS, Sturmey Archer, Schwalbe, Van Shorthorst, and Bush & Müller. All of our low-maintenance, upright bicycles are specially built to resist the tough Scandinavian weather where snow, frost and salt constantly threaten to attack every component of the bicycle. Manufacturing our traditionally lugged and brazed handmade frames at our German factory, enables us to reduce lead times and gives us added flexibility to constantly monitor and optimise our quality control process.

Simply select the Elechic version of your favourite bicycle model to enjoy outstanding electric bike functionality.

The advanced electric driving system used on Velorbis Elechic bicycles consists of six components: 1. Brushless motor with controller (double water protection, stainless steel axis, quality bearings and reliable magnet) 2. Display unit with iButton activation and removable multi-function computer (displays speed, trip, time and distance data) 3. Powerful Li-Ion battery pack (37V/9Ah Lithium-Ion with BMS) 4. Ergonomic support switch 5. Sensor with bracket 6. Cable set with connectors
It has been developed for front wheel assembly as two wheel traction (2x2) gives the best driving stability, optimal weight balance and allows for a free choice of rear wheel gear system. The complete driving system weighs 10.37 kg. It features: • Motor support maximum 250 W • Full motor support up to 25 km/h. Support and range adjustable in 10 equal steps from low to high degree: Motor support - Range 2 - Circa 85 km 4 - Circa 65 km 6 - Circa 50 km 8 - Circa 35 km 10 - Circa 25 km • Charger: 42V/1, 8 A.
