Bank Account Opening In line with the bank on-boarding account opening process the bank will require that the Pre-Screening Questionnaire to be completed for the bank's review of the business. (MOST IMPORTANT PART OF PROCESS) It would also be helpful if you could provide an idea of the structure of the company, the name and type of business it conducts, etc., so that they have an overview of the business and the financial services that will be required. (Cayman Gateway Ltd will assist with this process)
Service a) Provide a secure interface for the cardholder to enter payment account information b) Format and send an authorization request message to the Credit Card processor platform c) Wait for the response d) Act on the response (close the sale for approvals, block it for declines)
How? Cayman Gateway acts as a “bridge” that sends an ISO8583 Global authorization request to the credit card issuers and provides a secure interface for the cardholder to enter their details. Currently, the Merchant Acquirers in the Cayman Islands are Bank of Butterfield and Scotia Bank and the transaction is settled locally with the First Data Merchant Services who are the bank’s merchant processor.
Security • Datawire Secure Transport is used for transporting payment transactions securely and reliably. • Before being transported via the First Data Secure Transport Network, every transaction is authenticated using a Datawire ID (DID). • A DID is a unique customer identifier generated by the Secure Transport provisioning system and assigned to each client who uses the Secure Transport Network. • The DID is arranged through the merchant services provider at time of activation, when Merchant IDs are provided. • 3-D SECURE
Security • Cayman Gateway uses SSL connectivity, encrypting each transaction at the point of sale and authenticating. • Patented least-cost routing algorithms are used for full network redundancy and monitors each transaction. • Fully PCI-DSS verified. • An asymmetric, cryptographic key at a minimum of RSA 2048 bits is used for transactions over a network. • Support SHA 256 and Transport Layer Security (TLS) which is a protocol that provides security and privacy between communicating applications and their users on the Internet. TLS is the successor to the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
