Pastoral Care facilities at CBC Fremantle. There are some changes to the previous structure of Pastoral Care, and much thought has gone into ensuring the new building delivers better outcomes for students, parents and staff. The main change is a separation of the Pastoral Care reception area. Student Services Secretary, Mrs Jennifer Giancaspro, is accessible from the Stirling Street entrance to the new building. Stirling Street should be well known to all the members of our community who, like me, are averse to paying for parking. It runs from High Street to Ellen Street along our eastern border. Mrs Giancaspro will provide reception service to all boys
parents visiting the College will also be received by Jennifer, who will then direct parents to the appropriate staff member. Mrs Giancaspro will also attend to sick and injured students in the new sick bay, which is located directly behind the reception area. For all other issues, our boys will need to access the office of the Heads of House. All the Heads of House and the Year 7 Transition Coordinator share and staff this office from 8.00am to 4.00pm. This means boys can be dealt with directly by a staff member. Accountability for how they present to school will be a priority, and the excuse of blaming mum for not getting the washing and ironing done will

Fremantle Jazz Orchestra Under the direction of Shane Mancuso, the Fremantle Jazz Orchestra has strong ties both with the City of Fremantle, where it performs regularly, and with CBC Fremantle which produces many of its fine younger players. The Orchestra has a wide repertoire, ranging from the Swing Era through to the sound of a ‘contemporary big band’. Their vocalists also bring to life the songs and styles of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and Aretha Franklin. Yet another great community big band to enjoy at the Club.
