Journey with Mary towards her Son: Archdiocesan Centenary Celebrations 1913 - 2013 Marian Novena Nine Days of Prayer St Mary’s Cathedral, Perth Sunday 1 December - Saturday 7 December Holy Hour 7.00pm - 8.00pm Sunday 8 December Vespers 7.00 -8.00pm Mass of Solemnity for the Feast of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Monday 9 December, 7.00pm Celebrated by Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB, in the presence of his Grace the Papal Nuncio. The Marian Novena is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The overall theme invites everyone to journey with Mary towards her Son, directed by Scripture. The Novena will culminate with the Mass of Solemnity of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the presence of the Papal Nuncio on 9 December. As the Novena coincides with Advent, the time spent in Holy Hour is a wonderful opportunity for personal preparation for the great feast of the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus.
