What's Happening
Our store in Luverne participated in Touch a Truck Night in Luverne, MN. This event gives kids of all ages to see and touch the vehicles that keep the communitymoving.
Hunter Gilbard, C & B Rexburg, recently attended the Idaho state CDE/ carrier development events at University Of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho and ended up taking 1st place in small engines. For his talent, he received a $5,000 tuition at UTI. Employees at C & B Rexburg along with his parents are proud of his accomplishments!
Some of the team members fromC&BWaterloovisitedwith the local Iowa National Guard for lunch, a tour, and a presentation about what the local guard does. They had the opportunity to go up in a CH-47 Chinookhelicopter!

Community Impact
Our store in Luverne delivered meals on wheels to the community of Luverne for two weeks. Each employee delivered meals on wheels twice. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with the older generation and bring them a warm meal to their front door. They also volunteered to be on a standby list throughout the year when a backup is needed for delivering meals to those in the community.
The Bettendorf location took part in their community impact day on June 28th at King Harvest Ministers. The teams helped to take apart bunk beds to be donated to families in need and cleaned apartments they are getting ready for low-income people. They also cleaned out their freezers, threw out expired items, relabeled, and reorganized their food pantry.

C & B Wagner volunteered their time to help the Charles Mix County 4-H Club replace old, rotted wood fencing with continuous fencing.
C & B Storm Lake employees volunteered for the day to help SALUD, a nonprofit organization that believes in collaboration rather than competition and tries to serve their community by building community. They helped to unload the food truck, packaged the food for those in need, and delivered to families, the elderly, and those who are unable to leave their homes.

The Ida County Fair built a new swine barn and the staff at C & B Ida Grove volunteered to set up all the Along with their volunteer time, the Ida Grove store also donated $15,000 to the new building.

The Freeman store had half the crew over in Parker, SD furnishing some “man-power” to replace the safety fence in front of the grandstand for the Turner County Fair grounds.
