The real estate market recovery for both single family homes and condominiums has really taken hold during the first three quarters of 2014. The single family home market experienced a double-digit increase in the number of sales and a nearly 40% drop in the number of properties available for sale. Although prices have remained flat, with little inventory and higher demand, homeowners can expect price appreciation in 2015. The condominium market has also experienced a dramatic drop in the number of units for sale. Price appreciation has already begun in this sector and is likely to continue in 2015.
