2014 Hutchinson Island 1st Quarter Real Estate Report We are pleased to present the first quarter key market indicators that have impacted local real estate values so far this year. We use this information to forecast market trends that are likely to occur throughout the year. Historically, both the housing market and economy have been cyclical. After years of declining real estate values, stabilization is finally at hand. Our analysis of the indicators reflect mixed results for the first quarter of 2014 when compared to a year earlier. Sales activity in most categories increased, and inventory levels remained close to stable, or decreased. However changes in the average sales prices varied in different market segments.
