Introduction • Mandate: CCC is a Crown corporation established in 1946 for the purpose of assisting in the development of trade between Canada and other nations. • Mission: CCC supports the development of trade by helping Canadian exporters access government procurement markets of other nations through government-to-government contracting. • Commitment to Our Clients: As the Government of Canada’s International Contracting Agency, CCC is committed to being a trusted partner for acquisitions from Canada on a government-to-government basis.

CCC: Trade Policy Instrument 1. CCC is one of many trade policy instruments of the Government of Canada. 2. CCC is tasked with creating and sustaining a collaborative bilateral relationship built upon projects of mutual economic interest and significance. 3. CCC seeks to foster mutual economic cooperation based upon common interests between Canada and Africa in all fields deemed suitable, for: • The development and prosperity of respective industries; • The opening up of new sources of supply; and • The creation of new employment opportunities.

CCC in Africa • Currently have 4 signed MOU’s with ministries or government agencies in Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda. • Another 5 MOUs are under discussion but have not yet been signed. • Recent focus is on economic infrastructure: power, airports and railways.

Biometric Voter Registration in Kenya CCC provided the Government of Kenya a Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) system to register eligible voters and produce a clean and scrutinized voters list for the March 2013 Kenyan Elections.

International Airport in Ecuador CCC was the Prime Contractor for the construction of the New Quito International Airport.

Jeux de la Francophonie in Niger CCC worked closely with local NGOs to deliver necessary services for the Jeux de la Francophonie including sanitary food services preparation and volunteer services. Helped local staff improve their knowledge of in security, health, logistics, and communications.

Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices to Zambia CCC provided the procurement expertise and capacity to the Zambian Ministry of Health to supplement its domestic procurement system.

Rotary and Fixed Wing Aircraft to Sudan CCC worked closely with DFATD on providing rotary and fixed wing aircraft delivery to Sudan for the African Union. Helicopters, crew, maintenance and insurance in place and on the ground in Sudan in 11 days.
