WEATHERIZATION What is Weatherization? Weatherization is a free program for individuals and families who meet income guidelines. Measures are taken to make your home more energy-efficient, thereby saving on utility costs, increasing the value of the home and improving the safety of the occupants. We accomplish these measures by using proven anti-infiltration and insulation techniques that positively affect energy cost, as evidenced by lower energy bills. Priority is placed on homes with senior citizens, families with disabilities, children under the age of 17, and households with High Energy Usage and Energy Burdens.
