Columbia College Private, 4-year liberal arts college founded in 1854. Affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Comprises the Women’s College, co-ed Evening, Graduate, and Online programs for a total of 1,500 students. About 660 students attend the Women’s College. 400 live on campus. Students have 50+ clubs and organizations to choose from. Focused on developing students’ capacity for critical thought and expression, life-long learning, personal responsibility, and commitment to service and social justice. Columbia College is the home of the Fighting Koalas! Intercollegiate sports include basketball, golf, lacrosse, swimming, track and field, cross country, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and softball.
Division of Student Affairs Includes offices of: Dean of Students, Counseling Services, Multicultural Affairs & Community Resources, Student Activities, and Residence Life & Housing 2 Administrative Assistant/Coordinators, 1 Dean, 4 Directors, 2 Area Coordinators, 4 Graduate Assistants, 1 MSW Intern, and many student leaders! Supports academic, personal, and professional growth by providing fun and challenging opportunities to learn outside of the classroom, be engaged on-campus, as well as develop leadership skills, and promote social, cultural, psychological, and physical well-being.

Apartments In exchange for the free and optional on-campus apartment, you get training and experience serving on the Residence Life Area Coordinator on-call rotation. Meet the President Beth Dinndorf Graduate Assistants at Columbia College have many opportunities to interact with the College’s president, Beth Dinndorf. This opportunity is rarely afforded to a student at a larger institution and is a great asset to a professional just starting out in the field of higher education. From Friday Faculty & Staff Coffee, monthly gatherings at Maxwell House (the President’s residence!), to traditional events including the Ludy Bowl tailgate and We Choose Honor Ceremony, you can bet she will greet you and call you by name.
