The Show 2021 will be the first catwalk produced by the

College for Creative Studies Fashion Accessories Design department (CCS FAD). It will showcase the work of the nine CCS FAD graduates detailed in this catalogue. This

moment is an important milestone for CCS FAD to celebrate (since our department launch in the fall of 2015). The

Fitting in is tough. When we are young and experience a sense of rejection with “fitting in” we are more likely to develop social fears and tend to self isolate. One could simply adapt and try to conform to what everyone else likes, or begin the search for your own form of company that actually suits your interests. I found myself becoming immersed in YouTube communities, online games, and also diving deeper into my love for art and film. I liked to make creepy little dolls, watch scary movies, burn barbies, and do special effects makeup. These were the

A moral critique serves as nothing more than a mere representation of an inevitable condition. To point out the suffering caused by a society in which a business wontology has been installed fails to prove its genuine incoherence.

Reality as we know it is ideological in the sense of its presentation as natural fact/order.

Reality as we know it only functions to repress and to sustain.

Will we ever be able to understand ourselves as separate from an external ever-reaching desire? has the inefficacy of a commodified self expression made itself clear yet?

Delegate /

JAC BLADOW

Delegate is a collection by DOVES consisting of works that protect and highlight the human body fighting to empower sex workers and queers.

Pieces within Delegate bring awareness to breaking stigmas, bringing attention to human rights, and juxtaposing the constrictions of gender roles within society.

By using the creative process of fetish wear, the history of leather subculture, which powered queer spaces since the beginning, is cherished and commemorated.

ALORE NIEMI

Society has created a binary with the sole purpose of dividing one another, enforced by strict codes of conduct. We feel we must bend to the point of breaking in order to be accepted.

It is a distraction from the much greater problems on our hands. We must appreciate one other in our differences in order to fight the system that raises us, educates us, and oppresses us.

We are all an extension of this Earth, and thus a part of one another.

This work is an offering to wear a lens of someone other than yourself, to make peace with the differences between ourselves, and work together to create beneficial shared solutions.

In doing so, we can find pleasure in enjoying ourselves and each other.

This is a collection that challenges current belief systems. Intrinsic human curiosity is how we have learned about the universe around us thus far. We believe in theories of life that may be based in scientific fact or fiction and we choose to believe in those that make the most sense for our own personal experience.

Through conspiracies, Plato’s allegory of the cave, various myths, cultures, and religions I have created a collection of sophisticated products with inspirations many people can relate to.

This is a collection to question

human existence.
