Q. Thanks for interviewing with us. Tell us what you do and who you are.

A. I am Charles Anthony an R&B singer from Dallas, Texas.

Q. What first got you into music?

A. I first fell in love with music because I started watching Michael Jackson perform. I knew from that moment I wanted to become an artist.

Q. Who are some of your musical influencers who inspired you in your career?

A. My musical influencers are Michael Jackson, Ne-Yo and Usher. My family is by far my biggest inspiration for me in my career. They consistently keep me motivated to keep going no matter what obstacles that come up that may try and get in my way as I pursue and build a successful music career.

Q. Let’s talk about your single “Girls Like You” and the motivation behind the song.

A. I wanted to make a fun inspiring energetic song dedicated to all kinds of women letting them know that there are good men who genuinely appreciate them every day.

Q. How would you describe the music that you typically create?

A. The music that I create is music that fits the kind of person I am. I consider myself to be someone who is fun, outgoing and loving.

Q. If you could open a show for any artists, who would it be?

A. I would love to open up for Usher, Chris brown, Ne-Yo, and Justin Bieber. I chose them specifically because they fit the performance style that I give to my audience.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next three years?

A. I see myself being a known and globally recognized artist with 5 hit singles 3 platinum albums and consistently traveling making an impact on as many people as possible.

Q. If you could go anywhere in the world and perform, where

would it be? A. I would love to go over to London, England. I always wanted to visit there personally, and to also have an opportunity to perform there would also mean a lot to me.

Q. Are you working on any new projects or upcoming events?

A. I’m going to be performing in some upcoming shows beginning in a few weeks from now. I’ll be performing on AfroTV, also I’ll be performing at SXSW, and I’ll also be opening up for Aaron Carter this year.
