“ I’ve always loved the motivational quote, ‘It may be raining now, but the sun always come out again’.

Q. It is a pleasure to interview with you. Tell everyone who you are and what you do?

A. Such an honor to be here. Thank you for having me. I’m Glenn Marsden, the Founder of one of Australia’s most publicized Mental Health Initiatives and now Organizations, the Imperfectly Perfect Campaign which went on to gain global attention in under 12 months with the backing of some of the most influential public figures from corporate leaders to celebrities. I am also a dedicated Business Strategist | Performance Coach who works with clientele within the Entertainment Sector ranging from Actors, to Musicians, Miss World Competitors to Professional Athletes. I help my clients become an Authority within their Profession and think bigger about who they are and what they have to offer to the world. Combining the modalities of mindset coaching and business strategy I assist my clients with reclaiming their power by gaining clarity, mastering their brand, gaining established authority, attracting opportunities and exposure through PR and accelerating their Personal Brand or Business.

Q. What does “Imperfectly Perfect” mean to you and why did you pick this name for your business?

A. Being Imperfectly Perfect to me is a way of life. We grow up in a world forming ideals of what’s deemed perfect and what’s not. It’s about realizing flaws and all. The imperfections in each and every one of us is what makes us perfect. I chose the name to represent my organization because I wanted to make a cultural shift in the way mental health was often stigmatized. People often wont and don’t talk

about their mental health because of the time old stigma that is often attached or beliefs that there is something wrong with us if we are struggling or not holding up to this ideal of being ok, being perfect.

Q. Tell us about this new App Clubhouse and what your experience has been like being on this App?

A. I am loving it. The networking, the connections and authentic relationships that are being made. I love that the visual aspect we often see on other socials has been completely removed. It’s an audio-based app, so people really get to know a person by listening to them and not making assumptions or pre-judgement on people. I think we are seeing a new era of genuine connection really being made.

Q. What are some of your goals you have for this year?

A. For Imperfectly Perfect, it is about continuing to spread our message further to create a cultural change in the way mental health is spoken about. We moved into the corporate wellness space earlier last year to provide International Wellness Workshops and Programs for leading organizations as well, so a big goal is to continually push these efforts to disrupt corporate silence and get the education around mental health being openly spoken about and led from the top to create a ripple effect , not only to employees, but also to families of those employees who then take the education and resources they learn from us into the family home. As far as my consulting goes, continue to work with some incredible people within the entertainment industry and see them shine on stage or off. There is no better feeling watching your clients take back their power and being in control of their life and growing not only in their professional life but personal lives also.

Q. Can you tell us more about your podcast and what makes it different than others?

A. Sure, the ImperfectlyPerfect Podcast I get to chat and hear the personal stories of some of the world’s most highly acclaimed faces, influencers and corporate leaders who have all faced extreme adversity. I am truly blown away at the response from people around the world reaching out and resonating with the stories being shared and mostly that people are sharing their own stories after listening to the stories shared on the podcast.

Q. What are some things you do when you are not working?

A. For me, my downtime is all about my family. My wife, Catareeya, my son Lincoln and daughter Leighton. Taking trips away each weekend, putting the phones away and just being present. If I am not with my family or working, you will most likely find me at the gym.

Q. What are 3 things you love about Australia?

A. 1: Being originally from the UK, I love what seems like a neverending summer here in Australia. Everybody pretty much entertains, eats and lives outdoors year-round. 2: I love the Australian laid-back lifestyle and culture. 3. I love the fact that living in such a beautiful country with access to beaches on your doorstep, it literally feels like a holiday yearround.

Q. Can you give us some motivational words of encouragement?

A. I’ve always loved the motivational quote, ‘It may be raining now, but the sun always come out again’.
