Q. It is a pleasure to interview with you. Tell everyone who you are and what you do?

A. With God, all things are possible to start with. Jessicha Kay Tyler is a rising media mogul from Kansas City, Kansas. In the beginning of her career, she started at a young age, and yes, she was always in the spotlight. Jessicha had many talents and endeavors since she was a little girl always wanting to be on Television. Growing up in Kansas City, Kansas, she was always involved in extracurricular activities. In a total number of sports, she has played and participated in volleyball, basketball, track, cheer, dance, and gymnastics throughout her years of school. Also being spotted on many different athletic, competitive teams. She also got spotted on Miami beach for having the “look.” From there this sandy-haired beauty started her modeling career at the age of 6 with VIXPIX in greater Kansas City. Also working with Hendu Productions as an intern she was always making videos and taking pictures. While being recruited by other agencies, she always stood out. Being known for sports and her singing, rap, instrumentalist career, she was a state finalist for four years for National American Miss Kansas. At the age of 9, she was crowned National American Miss Pre-teen and Cover Girl, Miss Spirit of America, and 5th runner up for Miss Teen Kansas 2012. In those years she was a state finalist for gymnastics with Byrds Dance and Gymnastics. In her sophomore and junior year of high school, she was faced with two ACL, meniscus, and cartilage injuries. But that minor setback didn’t stop her. She proceeded to have surgery in both knees.
After her recovery, Jessicha proceeded to participate in Auxilliers in Music COGIC girls rock pageant winning the titles Miss COGIC. There she was discovered for her music and within that year, at the age of 16, was signed to DYME
Corporation as an inspirational artist. From there, she was working hard on her education, athletics, and music. In her college years, Jessicha moved to Dallas to further her life in her education. Jessicha was recruited and graduated from Richland College with her Degree in Mass Communication Broadcasting Journalism as an honorable mention student-athlete. She was a member of the volleyball and dance team. Jessicha transferred to Dallas Christian College where she played D2 volleyball with a team that was the 9th seed for the NCCAA National Volleyball Championship. Then Finishing her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies (Journalism, Sociology, and Industrial Studies) at the University of North Texas. Jessicha’s Journalism Career blew up even more by her participating in the biggest markets in Texas. She is currently working as a broadcast journalist and an owner at this time. Previously Jessicha was a Multi-Media Journalist/ Producer for ROKU on CFN Network. Also was an entertainment anchor for the airing behind closed doors. When working for North Texas Television she was a News Anchor, Reporter, Producer, Social Media Manager. Also, DJ and radio personality for FM 88.1 the one station. Jessicha was an On-Air sports personality, and Content creator for Fanatics View. Working as an intern for Allied Integrated Marketing, Denton Black Film, and NRH2O. She is now serving as a Communication Manager, TV Personality, and artist with Rightway Management. Also, a member of Starz of Dallas and Radio Personality for POWER214.com, Y99.9 FM.
In her starting her professional career she is the Owner /CEO of JKTV Enterprise L.L.C in which is a multitude of 3 businesses. OJKT productions, PPC Photography, and RWKW Salon are all underneath this umbrella. In her biggest project, Jessicha is a TV Host of her hit show KAYWAYTV. Also, she is working on a new hit TV Show Listen Up with Nuvyson Media on Apple TV and Roku. In her modeling world, she is working independently and with Unique Runway Management. Jessicha is in the process of creating a network for her show coming live on ROKU while working on new music for her EP and branding her businesses to create and bless others in the community through opportunity and expectation. In the great words of Jessicha Tyler: “Fear not the challenge but challenge the fear. You can do all things through Christ that strengths you.”
Q. What inspired you to be a Journalist?
A. What inspired me to be a journalist was me wanting to be like Oprah, Dominique Dawes. As a child watching sports and shows I knew at a young age that I wanted to touch people in a different way. Also, in ways to utilize my voice to help people to be better. As I studied more and more, I saw how icons like Oprah, Queen Latifa, Pastors, were able to touch people on a higher scale and I knew then that was my route to take to make that happen.
Q. Tell us about this new App Clubhouse and what your experience has been being on the App?
A. My experience has been a major blessing to me so far. I have been able to network with so many people in the world that naturally, I wouldn’t have the access to certain people. In which on this platform I was able to meet these wonderful individuals in creating and being a part of two groups that I believe will always alter and be a major part of my life. My group is called Kingdom Mindset through your industry with Kaywaytv and in this group we bridge the gap between national communities to make our country better through your industry. Ultimately the people on this team will create the floor for everyone to have the resources that they need in life. This has been a blessing with also being a part of the International Media Family in which we are able to have our voices heard in any situation. So far, I have become a top moderator and influencer in multiple rooms, and I can’t be happier to meet people that can be assets to my life. Also, very big S/O to my family Cece and Mickey for allowing me to be in this magazine and becoming a long-term family through meeting on the clubhouse.
Q. I also see that you model, sing, play sports, and do hair you are a jack of all trades but what are you most passionate about?
A. I love all of these very much, and I’m equally passionate about all of them. But the way I bring
all of my passions together is by making them all prevalent in my life into making me KAYWAYTV. Having my show, I am able to have the multitude to perform all of these facets by creating my own lane in the media industry. In which this is my passion because of how I raised I was never boxed into one situation where I had to pick a lane. I always had my main goal to be a TV Personality, but my other gifts also come with the package.
Q. It’s a new year, can you tell us some of your goals for the year?
A. This year I plan on growing my business picking up more clients to help this year. Also working on rebranding in facets of my platforms. This year I will be focusing on my health and recovering from my car accident and getting myself back to 100 percent best self.
Q. Let’s talk about “Kaywaytv” and the motivation behind it?
A. Kaywaytv is a platform where I am able to be a blessing through people’s minds, bodies, hearts, and souls. I am here to be a service for my community in growing people to not only be their best self but to be sure people are provided with the proper counseling and resources to succeed. The show has no limits in what we can provide. Our services are interviews, production, podcast, promotion, and much more.
Q. Can you give us some advice to someone that want to be in this industry?
A. In this industry now there is so many routes you can take to become a journalist or media personality. But I would say to do your research in schooling, YouTube, podcast, blogs, and see what your niche is. In this time of society, the floor is yours, so stay close to your spirituality, goals, and aspirations and follow your heart. Be sure you’re doing your surrounding yourself with mentors to help guide you in the different paths you want to pursue to receive a clear picture of what it is you need to do. Also, keep all of your content and representation of yourself clean that way your coachable in any place of work that you chose.
Q. What invention does not get a lot of love but has greatly improved the world?
A. I would have to say mask because we only would see mask being used for essential workers but now everyone in the world is in need of them and our life is depending on it at this time in the world.
Q. What has been your biggest accomplishment you have had in life?
A. Making my business official in 2020 and bridging the multitudes of everything I do into one in which birthing JKTV Enterprise L.L.C.
