Rising Sun Tigers Claim Blow-Out Victory Over North Harford Hawks 11-1

RISING SUN - The Rising Sun Lady Tigers celebrated the ribbon cutting of their new dugouts with a big win over the North Harford Hawks 11-1 on Wednesday.

The Lady Tigers tallied five runs in the fourth inning. with Josalyn McMillan and Bri Cole powering the big inning with RBIs.

Kelsey Barks toed the rubber for Rising Sun. Barks went three innings, allowing only one run on one hit, striking out four and walking zero. lan, Sam Dixon, Bri Cole, Jordan Lynch, and Cadence Williams all had multiple hits for the Lady Tigers. Dixon and McMillan each had three hits to lead the Tigers.

Carmen Santoro started the game for the North Harford Hawks. Santoro went four innings, allowing ten runs on 13 hits, striking out one and walking one. Ashlie McMillan threw one-third of an inning in relief. Bri Cole smacked one home run on the day in the fourth inning.

Jillian Lasher led North Harford Varsity Hawks with two hits in three at bats.
