Terms & Conditions of Booking Provisional Bookings & Deposits
Smoking Policy
To make a provisional booking, please contact the Christmas Coordinator on 0845 4096077 who will check that your date is available. A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person will be required to hold your reservation.
To comply with legislation The Cedar Court Hotel is a non-smoking hotel. We do however provide areas outside of the hotel where smoking is permitted.
Note: for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve a £20 nonrefundable deposit will be required to hold the reservation. All reservations can initially be made by telephone, but must be confirmed in writing, with deposit, within 14 days, otherwise your reservation will be offered for release. If you intend coming into the hotel to settle your account please let us know so we can ensure that someone from the Christmas Booking Office is available to see you.
Full Payments Full payment for all Christmas festivities is required by Friday 6th November 2009. Should payment not be received by the due date your booking may be released. All monies received are non-refundable.
Table Layout Table plans are subject to party numbers and subject to change without notice. Cabaret Party Nights & Festive Party Nights – Numbers of 8 or less may be joined by other parties subject to availability. New Years Eve Dinner in the restaurant – minimum table of 2 (limited availability) and maximum tables of 8.
Entertainment/Acts/Groups/DJ Cedar Court Hotels cannot be held responsible for the failings or non-appearance of any musicians/tribute acts or DJ’s booked. However the Management at Cedar Court Hotel will offer their best alternative at their discretion. The hotel reserves the right to refuse admission.
Reservations can be made by Debit/Credit Card or by Cheque made payable to ‘Cedar Court Hotel’. If paying by cheque, the Hotel will only accept one cheque per party. Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Menu Pre-Orders All menu pre-orders will be required at time of full payment.
Children
The hotel also reserves the right to cancel any event and offer an alternative date of equal value. No beverages of any kind are to be brought into the Hotel by event guests even as a gift or prize unless prior written authorization has been received from the Managing Director. You will be liable for the cost of repairs carried out as a result of any damage caused to any part of the Hotel premises/equipment by the negligence, wilful act/default of any person invited to the hotel by you or in your party.
Restrictions apply to children at certain events.
Private Parties
Cedar Court Hotel cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of another party’s property, however caused.
For private parties there are minimum numbers which will be discussed on your enquiry. These numbers are what we will charge for, even if your numbers drop below this.
