Beginning Monday, July 9, 2018, City Hall and City Hall Annex new business hours will be Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. This will ensure we provide better customer service before your workday begins or after your work day ends.
Free Mosquito Dunks for Residents The City of Celina is offering free mosquito dunks to Celina residents in order to fight mosquito-borne illnesses. Mosquito dunks are a safe, non-toxic way to kill mosquito larvae in standing water around your home. Standing water like unused swimming pools, empty containers, toys, old tires or rain gutters are common breeding grounds for mosquitoes. To use a dunk, it simply needs to be placed in the stagnant water.

Residents can pick up mosquito dunks at City Hall, 142 N. Ohio Street, during business hours. Residents must bring their utility bill as proof of residency. One package of dunks will be distributed per household and must only be used at that household. The dunks are not for resale.
Holiday Trash and Recycling Schedule Monday and Tuesday will be picked up as scheduled. Wednesday through Friday pickup will be delayed by one day due to the Independence Day holiday.

Fireworks prohibited
It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, discharge, manufacture, sell or offer for sale any fireworks. Upon conviction shall be subject to a fine not to exceed the sum of $2,000.00 for each offense. For more information refer to City Ordinance Sec. 5.05.003 and Sec. 5.05.002.
The City is currently taking applications from volunteers to serve on advisory committees through the end of July. Appointments will be made in September. Most board members serve two year terms.
