Welcome Welcome to the CEMS Career Forum 2014 taking place at WU in Vienna, Austria! Bringing together 41 Corporate Partners and over 1200 CEMS students and alumni from across the world during two days of 27 skill seminars and over 650 pre-scheduled interviews – the CEMS Career Forum is unique in every way and we hope you enjoy it! TIMING
Speed-Networking Meeting | Friday, 7th November Time: 16:00 – 18:00 Location: LC (Spaceship) Building, Clubraum (2nd floor) At the Career Forum’s Speed-Networking Meeting, corporate representatives are invited to meet academic representatives, typically the Corporate Relations Managers (CRMs), from CEMS member schools. It is a great opportunity to network and discuss concrete possibilities of cooperation. Each CRM has a dedicated area and company representatives are free to walk around and choose the schools of their interest.
Corporate Networking Cocktail | Friday, 7th November Subject to prior registration Time: 19:00 – 22:00 Location: Café Landtmann, Landtmann’s Bel-Etage | Oppolzergasse 6, 1010 Vienna The evening will continue with colleagues and other corporate representatives, alumni and academic representatives at Café Landtmann, a traditional Viennese café. With a friendly and convivial environment, complete with a selection of delicious finger foods, this will allow participants to socialize and network.
Job Fair | Saturday, 8th November Time: 10:00 – 17:00 Location: LC (Spaceship) Building, Ground Floor All stands are provided by CEMS and Corporate Partners may access the stand area from 7:30.
“Meet the Candidate” Lunch | Saturday, 8th November As a new element of the Career Forum, Corporate Partners will be able to invite two interesting candidates to have lunch with them at the Corporate Partner lunch on Saturday. It will allow corporate representatives to have a more informal conversation with interesting candidates. Vouchers will be provided to you and should be distributed between 10:00 and 12:00 at your company stand to two students/alumni of your choice.
Interviews | Saturday, 8th November Pre-scheduled interviews (subject to prior registration) Time: 8:15 – 18:00 (45-minute interview slots with 15-minute breaks in-between) Location: AD (Muchacho), TC (Rusty), D1 (Rusty), D2 (Zebra), D3 (Muchacho), D4 (Tetris) Buildings (exact rooms have been previously communicated in the individual interview schedule) In each interview room, there will be an attendance list and interviewers are kindly asked to have it signed by the interviewees at the beginning of each interview. Please leave the list in the room – the hostesses will collect it at the end of the day. Regardless of this, please inform the Career Forum Organising Team directly or by email about any interviewee, who did not show up for the interview.
Walk-in interviews (available on-the-day to all Corporate Partners) Time: 10:00 – 17:00
Location: LC (Spaceship) Building, Ground Floor, LC.0.132 (Festsaal 2) Located next to the job fair area in a separate room, the walk-in interview area allows Corporate Partners to have more detailed discussions or interviews with interesting candidates they meet at the stand.

CEMS Masquerade Gala | Saturday, 8th November Subject to prior registration Time: 21:30 onwards Location: The Box | Landstraßer Hauptstraße 2, 1030 Vienna The CEMS Masquerade Gala will open its doors from 21:30 at The Box located in downtown Vienna. Please make sure you pick up your ticket during the job fair at the Student Board stand (10:00 – 17:00) – please note you will be asked to provide an identification document (passport or ID card). The CEMS Club Vienna will be selling beautiful Viennese masks during the Career Forum, both on Friday and on Saturday. With a variety of 16 masks for both women and men, each mask will cost between 5-10 euros and all profits will go to charity. Page 5 of 8
Corporate Partners attending the Gala are invited to buy a mask as well. If you wish to donate more to the charity, please feel free to approach the students selling the masks.

Catering Friday, 7th November 2014 Bottles of water and Austrian Manner wafers will be available in all skill seminar rooms.
Saturday, 8th November 2014 The Corporate Partner Lounge in the Clubraum on the 2nd floor of the LC building will provide catering to the corporate representatives during the entire job fair. There will also be catering stations available in every building in the proximity of the pre-scheduled interview rooms. They will offer warm (coffee/tea) and cold (water/juice) beverages, as well as a small selection of whole grain open sandwiches and bakery. The Corporate Partner Lunch will be served between 12:00 and 14:00 in the WU Mensa (the entrance is located between the D1 and TC (Rusty) buildings. Please be aware of the opportunity to invite two interesting candidates to lunch by giving them a voucher in the early hours of the job fair. Assisting Personnel Throughout the Career Forum, hostesses will be available to you for any information or assistance you may need during the skill seminars, speed-networking meeting, pre-scheduled interviews, job fair and company presentations. You will recognise them by their CEMS uniform (dark blue polo shirt and yellow cap).
Corporate Partner Lounge The Corporate Partner Lounge will be located in the Clubraum on the 2nd floor of the LC (Spaceship) building and will be open from 7:30 to 16:00 on Saturday. The Lounge will include a business corner, equipped with a photocopier, a computer, a printer and stationery. Please note that this service is designed for last-minute changes and needs – Corporate Partners are expected to arrive at the Career Forum with their own materials and photocopies.
Internet Access Wireless internet access is available throughout the WU campus during the whole day Friday and Saturday. You may ask the assisting personnel at the info desks for assistance.
IT Services IT assistants will be available to Corporate Partners during the entire Career Forum. If you experience any IT problems, please ask a hostess to assist in calling the IT assistant for you.
Smoking Areas Please respect that smoking is strictly forbidden inside all the buildings of Campus WU.
Stand Information Electricity Electrical outlets in Austria deliver a voltage of 230 V and a frequency of 50 Hz. Electricity plugs used are commonly of type F (“Schuko” plug) or, in more rare occasions, type C (“europlug”) - both two-pinned unearthed plugs. While no adaptors will be provided at the Career Forum, each stand will be equipped with a triple outlet power strip for your convenience.

Decorations Companies are free to decorate their stand in the way they see fit (using merchandising, brochures, posters, etc.). A tool kit including a pair of scissors, double-sided sticky tape and wide packaging masking tape will be provided in each stand. Please note that posters and other material can only be hung with the equipment that can be found in the tool kit. All stand display materials must be kept within the perimeter of your assigned stand at all times. It is prohibited to attach any materials to the floor or walls, or carry out any type of promotional activities in any other part of the job fair area. Please also be aware of the need for certified promotional materials due to the strict fire regulations of WU and that any failure to produce appropriate certificates in advance or on the day of the job fair may result in the need to remove such materials from the stand.
How to Retrieve Your Promotional Material At the end of the event, you will have to pack away all remaining promotional material. The Career Forum hostesses will be there to assist you. These parcels will be stored at the WU campus for a maximum of one week after the event, until Monday 17 November. Therefore, you are kindly asked to arrange the pickup of your boxes within this timeframe and at your own expense. Please note that any material remaining after Monday, 17 November will be disposed of. Please read the following guidelines carefully: § § §
Materials should be packed at the end of the job fair from 17:00 to 18:00. Please ensure that all parcels are closed, clearly marked with your company’s name, address and contact person and left on the floor of your stand. Pick-up can be organized Monday to Thursday 9:00-16:00 and Friday 9:00-14:00 until November 17.
Evaluations Students will be asked to fill out an evaluation form pertaining to the skill seminar they have attended. The results will be shared with you after the Career Forum. All Corporate Partners are asked to fill out an evaluation form of the Career Forum on Saturday after the job fair. Please do not forget to leave the form on the stand counter. Your feedback is very important to us and enables us to improve the Career Forum and its services for CEMS Corporate Partners.
