The S.T.E.P.U.P. Program and the Marketing Your Success Program, two high school workshops focused on teaching students marketing and entrepreneurship skills in a professional setting, are both wrapping up in the beginning of July.

Green Filing’s electronic court filing solution has been designed to simplify the filing process utilizing a filing interface that even the most novice computers users find simple to use. They have spent several years providing services to attorneys and courts, particularly in the areas of access to court data, management of electronic court records, and the implementation of electronic filing.

The Marketing Your Success workshop was a two week, intensive workshop that taught a selected group of high school students marketing skills in order to put together a collaborative project that helped market Richmond in a positive light. Students learned that Richmond has a lot of positive things to offer to its community and learned ways to help promote those positive qualities to others.

The S.T.E.P.U.P. program was a 4-week program that taught a selected group of high school students entrepreneurial skills. This workshop also gave students a chance to work in professional settings, to earn a paycheck, and to help out local businesses.

Sander’s Jewelers has owned the building for over 30 years and restored the exterior by removing the metal facade to expose the original beauty of the upper stories.

Both workshops were held in the Innovation Center and we were happy to have both groups of students in the building. We will definitely miss the positive energy and activity that both workshops brought to the building.
