t Many have heard the saying,"I don't know where I'm going, but I know where I've been." Many here at CBC know just how true this statement is. At some point in everyone's life he or she stares into an uncertain future not knowing what tomorrow holds. Anxiety builds as the future gradually unfolds before their eyes. Looking back,we see how lives have been changed. We say hello to new friends and goodbye to those who are moving on to anew phase of life. Many have gone on to
find their destiny, while others stay and patiently await their turn. These pages are dedicated to the students and faculty that make CBC a home. It's these people

Some might say there's nothing to do at a small college, but those who do obviously know nothing about CBC. From basketball to Harvest Party; Vespers to Spring Fling there is usually something to do. When organized activities aren't available we still find plenty to occupy our time.
f 5^
With the deep friendships that we have even a gab fest is a memo rable time. Student life abounds. It's what makes our time at CBC a time that we will always cherish.

Those receiving awards were: Amy Martin, Kent Schrieber, Shelia Campora, David Hellwig, Tim Pickard, Chris McDonald, Jennifer Malugen, Mike Tucker, Karen Godfrey, JasonBurns, Brenda Phousongphouang, Charles LeCrand, Leigh Ellon Laminack, Todd Groat, Heather Young, Carmyn Hubble, and Billy Thomas.
One of the favorite events of the year, for students and faculty alike is the annual Student Appreciation and Awards Banquet. This year we all dressed in clothing from a bygone era. Some enjoyed it so much you might think they wanted to return to those days. The faculty served the students, even to being the clean-up crew after wards, and a great time was had by all. Applause and squeals of delight accompanied the presentation of the awards. In addition to the presentation of awards it was announced that John Smith had won the run-off election for Presi dent of the Student Government Association.

ORGANIZATIONS
m One of greatest attributes of Central Baptist College
7m
is its organizations. The various campus organiza tions allow students to personally get involved.
They are also responsible for providing most of the school activities during the school year. Most stu dents are enthusiastic about what the campus orga nizations provide..
k
Campus organizations bring people together, as they work toward common goals. There are a wide variety of organizations to choose from,so there is something for everyone, no matter what a persons likes may be.

Involvement makes campus life great.

The CBC choir was under the direction of Mrs. Joan
Hanna this year. Their concert program was unusal and inspiring as they presented to their audiences many differing styles of music which have influenced the music of our day. The Choir sang for the BMAA National Meeting. It takes a lot of effort to produce a choir as outstanding as ours. 1 hope each member feels it was worth it. The rest of us

The singers worked very hard this year. They practiced and practiced and practiced, they traveled, they performed, and they played.
To be in the Singers is certainly a privelege. It requires determination and desire, but the most important re quirement is the desire to serve God through music.

It Really was Fun...
Intramurals CBC Style. INTRAMURALS,Did we have
intramurals, boy did we have intramurals. From volleyball to basketball to softball many if not most of the student body were involved in some intramural activity. Usually all was done in good fun, but occasionally in the heat of competition we lost our cool. Fortunately, it was only lost

for a moment.
Randy Scaggs did a good job of keeping all the activities arranged and on schedule. For Randy's sake I'm sorry that records are not kept on length of softball toumaments. I'm sure we would have gone into the record books as having the longest softball tournament in recorded history.
In fact I'm not sure it's over even yet. 'Jt-i' n*
It was great fun and we are looking forward to the competition again next

INTRAMURALS: Vollyball Volleyball, did we have volleyball? Believe it! It provided us with one more way to have fun and relieve
r
some of the tension and
frustration of the day. Being highly competitive some of our teams felt worthy to represent the USA in the Olympics. Fortuately, reason conquered zeal and they became satisfied with mere competition with their peers.

A comedown , you say, Not at all. The competition on the volleyball court was of high caliber. Definately champion ship quality. We want to extend congratula tions to our champions. We stand in awe of your accom plishments. We lie a lot.

INTRAMURALS: BASKETBALL m Intramural basketball probably took more of our time than any other sport. It of course was time we freely gave.
You have to reali/.e it sure beats sitting up in a dorm room studying, besides we deserved the break. RIGHT, RIGHT.
We may at times have not looked like the dream Team" but I'm sure we
enjoyed ourselves more. It hurt some to lose more than others. Some even
got good at it. Losing that isl

Next year, just wait until next year We 11 have it all together by then, then look out.
There were times when we got tired, but our loyality to our team brought us back onto the floor for the next game. .All in all it was great and added to the memories we made during this year.
