J Central Baptist College has been in existance

fourty years. In those years thousands of stu dents have received at least a part of their edu cation here. You are a part of the exciting tradition of our school.

The yearbook staff decided to try to take a look back at some of our history and contrast it with what is happening today. After much work we realized we had undertaken a task bigger than we were. So while this book does not accom

plish all that we had hoped for it. May it,atleast, reflect this great year we enjoyed together.

m mm

\

m

May you always be able to look back and say "I'm proud that 1 was a part of the Central tradition and I'm excited about where my school is going."

df We have every reason to" Celebrate the Past" and "Anticipate the Future". !

Bruce Hall The natural look just doesn't workfor some

Mickie, there is no hook in your hands, is this your imagination?

Bruce Hall is more than just a dorm. The late

night talks and parties draw the girls closer together almost like sisters. The dorm parents, Stanley and Cynthia Payne, are always willing to listen and help. That makes a place that will remain in the hearts of all the girls. The floor counsolers for the first semester

were Kristen Blanton, Heidi Dewey, Keri Mitchell, and Marcy Wallace. The second semester they were Michelle Ingram, Keri Mitchell, Christ! Snow, Marcy Wallace.

HOMECOMING ONE MOMENT IN TIME

n Homecoming is always a special time on campus. There is always the tension

surrounding

the

selection

of

Homecoming Queen as the student body through aseriesof votes narrowed the field down to the five ladies who would serve as

Homecoming court. Of these five the students

selected

Kristen

Blanton to be queen. Others in the court

were Shelly Clark, Carol Hart, Kami Hiland, and Christie

4

Snow.

The return of former

students

,

the

excitement of the

basketball game, the laughter and renewed friendships all together made it a very special day.

As we look back at the time these

The future looks bright for both

of this years recepients. Thanks for what you have given to our school. Mr and Miss CBC at the highest awards given by the faculty to a member of the student body. They certainly made a good choice this year.
