Wl Why have we chosen to come to CBC? Hopes, desires, expectations, aspirations and a hostofothersynonyms express various reasons, but all of them are wrapped up in our dreams. We all dream of a bright future for ourselves, our friends and even for our world. Day by day our dreams grow, built upon the realities of classroom and social experiences. The 1994-95 year at Central Baptist College was beyond the dreams many students had about college. Record attendance at CBC added a lot to student life,

Living in Bruce Hall during the 1994-95 school year was beyond our expectations. Most girls can recall the feelings of exhilaration to waking up in the morning to a freezing room in the middle of winter, and then having those feelings completed by ice cold water in the showers. The rooms, however, were not always cold. Many times they resembled an oven on Thanksgiving day. Just as dorm life was beginning to become repetitive, something would always happen to liven up the scene. It was not unlikely to hear girls screaming in the halls at 1:00 a.m. Many times they resembled a stampede. Shortly before Christmas the residents of Bruce Hall awakened to discover toilet paper decorating the foyer. The Student Women's Organization hosted Harvest Party on November 11,1994. For the first time it was heid at First Baptist Church of Conway. Aiso for the first time, valet parking was available. The meal was catered by Country Sampler. The Master of Ceremonies was Jeff Riddle. Donny

Parrish provided the entertainment by making a video on campus, the video included several student inter views. The final video was a surprise to even those that were interviewed, because Parrish enhanced the video by switching questions and answers.

"We are the reason

David Attebery sang the theme song,"We are the reason." TWiRP awards were voted on by the student body a week before Harvest Party and the winners were announced at the party. The Royalty was aiso voted on and announced.

For many Seniors, the 1994-1995 school year proved to be the completion of a dream. Seniors dreamed of graduating and entering the next stage of their lives,

and on May 12,1995, those that had completed their requirements experienced the reality of their dreams. Long hours of study, hundreds of Papa John pizzas, and countless tests paved the way for these students. Their dream had begun yearsago as they began Central Baptist Colfege as freshmen. The ups and downs of grades, relationships, and spiritual growth did not stop them in their pursuit of the dream. They continued and watched their dreams become reality.

The future is often referred to as

that "Undiscovered Country" that each person must face.

The

seniors of Central Baptist College had a great deal to look forward to during the 1994-1995 school year. For many of them, May 12, 1995 would markthe end of theircollege career. For others, May 12th served as a reminder that they had only one year of school left. In looking to the "Undiscovered Country",seniors sawthemselves in various places and positions. Wade Allen said, "In 10 years, I hope to have completed my M.Div. degree, and maybe have started on a doctoral level program. I hope to have started having children with my wife Joanna (2,

3, or 4 if I can talk her into it."

Julian Dominquez stated that he hopesto be "serving as a marriage and family counselor, either in a church or private practice." Whatever the future held for the

seniors at Central, each student

knew that they could face the "Undiscovered Country" better

because of their time at CBC.
