CHALLENGING - ENGAGING - INSPIRING

What drew me to CBC was the opportunity to make life-long friendships with other Christians. The college you choose to place yourself will determine the trajectory of your life. I chose to place myself in a Christcentered environment, and I have not regretted one moment since. - Rachel S. '11 Director of Student Services

OUR MISSION

Thank you for your interest in Central Baptist College. CBC is a wonderful, unique campus - large enough to offer a variety of education and extracurricular activities, yet small enough to provide one-on-one interaction and a strong sense of community. Since the institution’s inception in 1952, our mission has been “transforming lives through education that integrates Christian faith and academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment.” Everyone at CBC is united in our dedication to achieve this goal. Located in Conway, CBC students enjoy easy access to nearby Little Rock yet reside in the friendliness and security of a small town. Conway is home to multiple institutions of higher learning, a thriving business environment, scenic lakes and parks, and a vibrant community.

Central Baptist College is committed to transforming lives through education that integrates Christian faith and academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment.

This is an exciting time on campus and we would love for you to be a part of it! Schedule your campus visit today, so that we can share what experience and education mean here at CBC. Sincerely, President Terry Kimbrow

“I want to pursue a career in medical missions and share the love of Christ through medicine. The Lord opened up so many opportunities for me to attend CBC by blessing me with music scholarships. Another great blessing is my brother lives in Greenbrier, just about 20 minutes away. After CBC, I plan to attend a PA school for medicine and continue to be involved in medical mission trips. But until then I’m involved in Perspective, a college ministry. I spend time with my friends in downtown Conway, and join in basketball games, stampede, broomball, spring fling, mustang madness, and M.U.D. week. There is never a dull moment on campus!” Hannah B. Oklahoma City, OK Biology

“I chose to attend CBC because it was a small school that could offer me a quality education. I could tell from my tour that the staff and faculty really cared about students and that greatly appealed to me. While at CBC, I am the managing editor of The Tower newspaper and a singer for chapel band. I love being a part of City Church and their college ministry: College City. If I’m not at school you can usually find me there. After CBC, I would like to work for a ministry organization and work with the media side of their ministry. I want to share Christ through journalism.” Mati S. Washburn, MO Journalism

“I came to CBC to be able to glorify God through all of my talents in a welcoming Christian environment. I’m an aspiring entrepreneur, and I plan to make my run for Forbes List. Creating an empire is definitely in my future! When I’m not in class, I enjoy perspective, volunteering at church, and joining in music gigs around campus. My favorite campus activity is intramurals.” Michael J. Germantown, TN Accounting

“I have always had a passion for music. God led me here despite what I had planned and He blessed me abundantly with scholarships and wonderful friends. On campus, I hang out with my friends a lot. Our weekends consist of a lot of Netflix and bowling. Spring Fling is always something to look forward to. It is so fun to just eat, play and fellowship with everyone. After graduation, I am planning on moving back to Oklahoma and getting my Masters in Music Education so that I can become a high school choral director.
