CREATE YOUR LEGACY After Penelope O’Neill’s passing in 2019, Tim Lundell ’68 established the Penelope O’Neill Memorial Scholarship for Girls Rising Above, to provide need-based tuition assistance for girls who would derive significant benefit from the high-quality education provided by Central Catholic High School. Tim saw the scholarship as a step in furthering opportunities for college and as an assist in breaking the cycle that might otherwise keep them at risk for poverty and abuse. We are grateful to Tim, who let us know that he has also included additional funding for this scholarship through a provision in his will. Thank you, Tim, for your foresight and generosity. “Like so many other CCHS grads, my path to success, both in career and in life, began with the education and values I acquired at Central Catholic High School. While we all aspire to make life easier for our kids and grandkids through inheritance, it was an easy choice for me to share some of that benefit with young people that might not otherwise have the chance, as I did, to dream big and to acquire the tools that made those dreams come true. It’s an easy step to take, to name CCHS in your will, or in your revocable trust, or even as a beneficiary of your retirement funds.” Tim Lundell ‘68 To learn more about how you can include Central Catholic in your will or trust and make a powerful impact on tomorrow’s students contact Ellie Dir, Vice President of Advancement at 503.230.106 or edir@centralcatholichigh.org.
