Key Performance Indicators
K
ey Performance Indicators (KPI) are important to monitor a herd’s productivity, measure progress, analyze patterns and make adjustments to stay on course with goals; as well as to solve problems and identify opportunities. The data here is a snapshot of the CentralStar DHI herd. While interesting to see what is achievable, a more valuable approach is to generate KPI comparisons for your dairy using factors such as geography, herd size and breed, before drawing any conclusions. CentralStar is staffed with professionals who can help make sense of the numbers and help you with your herd’s KPIs, as well as a path to achieving your goals. If you would like help, ask a CentralStar team member.
