OUR PHILOSOPHY We started Loki with the idea of of creating the hostel we would love to stay in, and reservations is no different especially in busy periods. We remember how hard it is as a traveller to leave a good hostel on the day you initially planned or plan ahead and book the next hostel, we used to just show up in the hostel and hope for a bed or book just before going on the bus to next town.

So in Loki we very rarely book more than 70-80% of the beds in the hostel, so we can allow for walk ins with no reservations or for people who want to extend their stay to stay for longer. I only remember once in more than 7 years that I had to ask a group to leave, we always try to extend people stay and in case we do not have space in the same room we find an alternative. As same as people stay for longer some leave ahead of their planned date, this is also why we do not ask you to pay before you leave as the number of nights nearly always change. For busy season confirming reservations is even more tricky as we want to allow people to still book a few days in advance, so we slowly release availability in the previous months to the period always leaving enough space for the few days to a week before the date so unorganized travellers like us can still find a place in Loki. For these reason we usually do not have much availability on sites like Hostelworld and Hostelbookers, but probably still have space and will confirm reservations coming through our own website or directly in the hostels, flexibility is a key for us. I hope this helps you in understanding how we manage our reservations in Loki and hope we found everyone who is reading this space for the holidays period, and as I said there is still some available. If you are among the ones we could not find space for we would love you to join us for our events in the hostel. Best point ever! I stayed at Loki Cusco in May 2015 .It was the best eleccion. You have all to a few blocks . I made friends with those who went to visit Machu Picchu and Sacsayhuaman.No matter if you go alone , always meet people in the Loki .The best is an evening on the backyard with friends eating BBQ. On night , people get crazy with thematics parties. Surely, if you go to Cusco, you must stay in Loki, 100 % recommended !
This activity takes place from a house which is suspended between two mountains by high-strength cables used in suspension bridges booth jump was designed by our engineers, exclusively for us , which rises to 122 meters high by action of a hydraulic winch. The Sacred Valley of the Incas or the Urubamba Valley is a valley in the Andes of Peru, close to the Inca capital of Cusco and the ancient city of Machu Picchu. It is located in the present-day Peruvian region of Cusco. The valley is generally understood to include everything between Calca and Lamay, Písac, and Ollantaytambo. The valley was formed by the Urubamba River, also known as Willkanuta River (Aymara, “house of the sun”) or Willkamayu (Quechua). Places you should go! Paragliding Miraflores Lima is the capital of paragliding, jetties have breathtaking natural beauty , which by7its geographical and aerological characteristics, an ideal place for practicing adventure sports scene , particularly parapente.La information booth is located in the Raimondi Park , alongside the Parque del Amor , on the boardwalk of Miraflores. Flying hours are Monday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs ) Located in the district of Barranco , it was built in 1876. The name of the Bridge of Sighs comes from the many romances that had and have as barranquino frame this picturesque corner . The tradition says that who first see the bridge and crosses without breathing will fulfill the desire to ask . This beautifully designed spacious Loki is fully equipped with the usual Loki comforts and services, large common areas, daily cleaning of rooms, free Internet, TV room, bar, restaurant,beach access, late breakfast and checkout, with one major addition - a huge 26 metre swimming pool to laze around and soak up the sun. We have double rooms (matrimonial or twin ), mixed rooms (four, six and eleven persons) and only girls room for six.

I stayed at Loki del Mar in Mancora in June 2015. I was fascinated with the hostel, beautiful! Have good music all day and make friends from all over the world. Perfect to relax in the morning in the pool, direct access to the beach is the best! Contests are we very funny and prepare you for the night.

Mancora and beaches nearby, the magical Peruvian northcoast. Really good weather, magical beaches, sunny days all year round, perfect waves and delicious seafood cuisine summarize the feeling of the beaches located in the north department of Piura and Tumbes, north coast of Peru.
Las Pocitas “Peaceful and exclusive ambience, on a beautiful beach”

ocated only 3 kilometers south from Mancora’s downtown with a total length of six kms approximately. Las Pocitas (“Little Wells”) is one of the most beautiful beaches from the coast of Peru. You can get there from Mancora, Los Organos or Vichayito walking, by taxi or in a moto-taxi, the most used type of transportation there. Here at Las Pocitas (show in some maps as “Mancora chico”) the ambience is quiet and a bit more exclusive, thanks to the relative distance from downtown and to the price/quality of their lodgings. The curious name comes from the natural pools that form inside the craters of rocks on the beach at low tide. This characteristic, unique to the coast of Peru, along with the beautiful houses and hostels that line the shores, makes this place paradise and a safe
heaven for the whole family to enjoy. Las Pocitas beach has only one central road (which was originally the Panamerican North Highway) that goes between the beach and a beautiful sloping hillside. Asphalt doesn’t exist in Las Pocitas and the green vegetation surrounding the houses in this beachfront community demonstrates the care of the inhabitance: many palm trees at seashore with an spectacular turquoise sea and white sand give the tropical ambience that many people love it. Las Pocitas offers everything for the tourist; good quality hostels, nice Hawaiians cottages bars and restaurants. Vichayito
“The charm of a sandy beach between Mancora and Los Organos”
T
his beach belongs to Los Organos district, and it’s located between Los Organos (south) and Pocitas beach, Mancora (north). This zone enjoys of an absolute tranquility; this beach is a delight for swimming, because it has no rocks. In regard to its infrastructure, it has some hostels / bungalows and restaurants, some stores and also a modern beach spa. Nice houses and bungalows for rent adorn this beautiful beach. This area promises a good tourist activity on the next years. Vichayito has grown a lot on the last years, thanks to investors and people that love this beach and decided to buy land and build houses, cottages and hotels.
Perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing, the wind blow up strong between April and November. The area have some “bajos” (diving spots) like the one know as “bajería Peña Mala”, located on the north side of the beach. Vichayito has two access routs, via Pocitas beach (Mancora) and the other by the entry to the old North Pan-American Peru Highway (“Antigua Panamericana Norte”), at the 1155 km of the North Pan-American Highway. This entrance has a little sign with green letters that say “Vichayito” among with other hostels signs.

“Surf and kitesurf paradise”

ocated at 70 kms south of Mancora, Lobitos and surrounding beaches differ from the rest of the beaches at the north, mostly for its weather and sea temperature, both colder than the other beaches. This beach does not have the extraordinary good weather all year round, like the beaches north from Cabo Blanco. At Lobitos there is permanently a strong wind on winter and there are new hostels and lodging operating on the area. Lobitos have an important factor for many of us: the waves and
the wind. With more than four different points, Lobitos is a surf and kitesurf paradise, the quality of the lefts waves is superb but you sure need a long wetsuit, except some days in summer time. Lobitos has grown a lot, many new hostels, house rentals an even restaurants are there . On a private transportation is about one hour. Public transportation: you can go also from Talara city in a private taxi or public transportation (“combi”) to Lobitos.
