DARK PASSION “….. Likely to attract the viewers’ attentions…..” “When creating photographic images featuring female subjects I endeavour to create artworks, often with mystery touch which is likely to attract the viewers’ attentions and curiosities, regardless of their gender. I particularly enjoy visualising the viewers looking at my works with some perplexities and perhaps making unspoken questions about my eventual intended messages. I leave viewers to indulge into their fervid speculations."

MUSIC C’EST MOI
“…I started to go in and feel so comfortable and confident.”
STEFFLON DON 121 C’est Moi Magazine
Presenting .......
D
On December 14 1991, Stephanie Allen aka Stefflon Don, London’s grime queen, came into the world. Her love of music started at a very early age. Often compared to Nicki Minaj, her sound is more grime reggae with in-your face lyrics, like “Real Ting”. As one of seven siblings and her parents of Jamaican descent, Stefflon found her voice through music. Music was in her blood. She was always improving her voice and her art by listening to songs on the radio then practice from them by recording them and replaying them back until she perfected the sound and song. She was heavily influenced by reggae, but if you listen hard, you can also hear some strong influences of Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown. In 2015, she gained momentum when she began to do mix covers for popular songs like “Lock Arff” by Section Boys and “Six Words” by Wretch 32. Her work began to get noticed which led to her working with artists like: Sneakbo, Jeremih, Lethal Bizzle, and much more. In 2016, she released her first album, “Real Ting” featuring Jeremih. Her hard work really paid off. In early 2016, Stefflon signed with Sony. In an interview with FADER, she was asked how she has developed as an artist. She responded by saying, “I’ve had more time to be in the booth, and to figure out what I actually like, what I don't like. I’m more comfortable with myself and saying whatever I want, and not really caring about anyone else.” We are excited to see more of what Stefflon Don has in store for us for 2018. “…..
It is a young and very dynamic city.”
By Sanda Panteleimonov
“I recently visited the capital of Alsace region, Strasbourg. It is a young and very dynamic city. It really impressed me by its “international fusion” which is an intersection of cultures and languages (most of all, of course, English and German). It is the center of many museums, theatres, restaurants, and festivals. Everything is so close here! If you love fine restaurants decorated in the French style, if you love to dine and wine in restaurants where you can taste specific German foods, or experience historical monuments or entertainment, this is the place for you. You will fall in love with this captivating city! Sorry, Chisinau and Paris. I thought my heart belongs only to you two. How naive of me! As it’s known, Strasbourg may also be called the capital of Europe due the fact most of the important European organizations are situated in this city. For example, the European Parliament, European Court of Human Rights, the European Council, and much more. Strasbourg's historic city centre, the Grande Île (Grand Island), was classified a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. Basically, it’s the first time an entire city centre was placed on such a position. Strasbourg always represented a cultural bridge between France and Germany for centuries, especially through the University of Strasbourg which is currently the second largest in France. It is the symbol of the coexistence of Catholic and Protestant culture. The city centre is home to the main sites and monuments which includes the Cathedral, magical Petite France, and the Ponts Couverts. Speaking about cathedrals, the Gothic Cathedral, also known as the “Notre Dame de Strasbourg”, is one of the main famous attractions and known for its astronomical clock. The cathedral is so huge that I have no idea how it could be possibly captured in a photo. You can explore Strasbourg strolling on a bicycle, but I strongly recommend to take a walk. Also, boat excursions are a “must” for the goal of discovering this wonderful and beautiful city. Finally, I provide you some images taken during my boat ride and walks within the great city. "
