Sometimes I wonder how many people love fantasy and fashion, as much as me? I also wonder how many people admire beautiful outfits and dresses showcased in fantasy movies?

MOI

Costumes always represent to me an important element in movies. Costumes create a dream-like effect which allows for an outer-worldly experience.

Well halloween is coming soon. Let us try to adjust and apply some elements in our contemporary, everyday style. Here are some examples of characters with well-known style of fantasy outfits. Try to imagine their contemporary alternatives!

MAGA

Cinderella’s Blue Ball Gown.

Layers and layers of glittering fabrics create a great impression of the Cinderella dress featured in the 2015 movie. You may not be able to wear this kind of dress or style everyday, but you are still able to borrow the color or type of dress for special occassions. .

Stepmother’s Glamour. As we know, Cate Blanchett played the role of Cinderella's evil stepmother. With the incarnation of glamour, she never appeared without a scarlet pout, corset dresses, and attractive oversize hats. Some of these elemets will look really interesting in casual style or in evening outfits.

CAMILA CABELLO 127 C’est Moi Magazine

Presenting

.......

D

On March 3 1997, Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao came into the world. Camila is a Cuban-American singer. You may remember her as one of the songstress of Fifth Harmony. She is well known for her hit single “Havana”, which is a representation and homage to her Cuban background. Camila’s love of music blossomed from an early age. So early to the point she left high school during her freshman year to go after her dreams. She, of course, later got her high school diploma. Camila categorizes her style as pop and R&B with influences of Latin sounds like reggaeton and dancehall. In 2016, after leaving Fifth Harmony, she established herself as a solo artist releasing her first solo single “Crying In The Club” which got rave reviews and got on U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Who says staying in a girl group is the only way to being relevant? Since leaving Fifth Harmony, she has worked with the likes of: Machine Gun Kelly, Cashmere Cat, Pitbull, J Balvin, Travis Scott, and many more. We hear she is in the process of releasing her album. Due to her extreme success with her single “Havana”, she wants to bring more to the table and allow her Latin influences show through her sound and style. Her attitude gives us, “Why stop? Won’t stop!” What more does she have for us? Do not worry, we will keep you updated. We can say as we watch her journey, she shows us to always follow our dreams and to never stay comfortable. CULTURE C’EST MOI

“….. Also known as the “kingdom of the west.”

M

orocco, also known as the “place the sun sets to the west” or “kingdom of the west”, is a unitary sovereign state located in the Maghreb region of North Africa. It is known for its rugged mountain and coastlines that are bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Morocco has been a land of many leaders and conquerors, which include the Roman Empire, the French, and the Spanish. Though the Ottomans were unable to conquer this northern region, the Muslim faith didn’t become prominent until after the seventh century, which was achieved by the Umayyad Caliphate. Though this quest introduced Islam and the Arabic language to many regions in Morocco, many of the indigenous Berber tribes kept their customs and practices which we still see even today. Why go to Morocco? Why not…! Tourism is one of the most encouraged part of Moroccan economy. The countries well developed tourist industry is focused on the culture, outdoor activities, and its history. You can’t walk through Morocco and not feel the ancient vibrancy of yester-year, BC technology. It doesn’t hurt that Morocco is situated close to Spain, which makes it easy for Europeans to make their yearly tract to the countries’ numerous beaches and take advantage of their low travel costs. Do not be afraid! You definitely will not be out of place. Morocco is a pool of different nationalities. Though Arabic is mostly spoken, you will hear French (the countries second major language) spoken on the streets. Do not be surprised to also hear Spanish spoken in certain regions. This is due to Spain’s colonization in the coastal areas. Now you are probably wondering, “What is there to do you ask?” Well, let us show you some snippets.

.......

Gemini (21 May – 20 June) You’re more concerned with achieving perfection, and may be too hard on yourself if you’re not living up to the standard you’ve set in your head. You could decide to pursue an old plan that you’ve given up on, finally figuring out the piece that you were missing. You need to go easy on yourself. You can spend more time with your friends, make new friends with greater ease, and be more social. You will also spend more time fantasizing about your dreams for your future, and idealize what you want your future to be. Favorable Dates: April 4, 5, 13, 14, 22, 23 Favorable Colors: Red & Green Cancer (21 June – 22 July) Your mind is more active, and you can come up with new ideas and plans. You pay more attention to the details, but have a harder time with the bigger picture- so it’s a good time for dealing with day-today affairs. You would want to take time off from work and duty so you can do whatever your heart desires. You could take up new hobbies and spend more time goofing off. Keep in mind that those things that you’ve managed well in the past are now being rewarded. You can feel most like yourself when you’re doing the things that you enjoy most, exploring your creative side, and taking more time away from work. Favorable Dates: April 6, 9, 15, 18, 24, 27 Favorable Colors: Blue & Red

C’est Moi Magazine 144

ZODIAC C’EST MOI Virgo (23 August – 22 September) You feel most like yourself when you’re communicating your ideas and gaining more knowledge. You’re more emotionally invested in your dreams and concerned about the future. You also have more energy for dealing with your relationships and you want to spend time with your loved ones. Your status will improve from all the dimensions. Favorable Dates: April 2, 9, 11, 18, 20, 27 Favorable Colors: Yellow & Red Libra (23 September – 22 October) During this month, your reputation at workplace will grow. An increment is also predicted but it will increase your work pressure too. You should keep your mind open to welcome any new opportunity. Your financial as well as social status will enhance. You would be highly romantic, but also somewhat prone to self-deception- seeing what you want to see in a lover rather than what really is. Being “in love with love” is quite probable now. Love can be very romantic for you, but it can also be complicated or downright elusive! Favorable Dates: April 4, 10, 13, 19, 22, 28 Favorable Colors: Yellow & Blue Scorpio (23 October – 21 November) You are likely to derive much satisfaction from taking care of practical concerns in your life. This is a time of long-range planning that will bring you benefits down the road. Get your affairs in order and invest in yourself. If firmness and patience are exercised then you would be able to locate the ideal partner of your life. Favorable Dates: April 1, 4, 10, 13, 22, 28 Favorable Colors: Red & Grey Sagittarius (22 November - 21 December) You’re quick to take the initiative now. Brilliant ideas are now easy to come by. Opportunities as well as responsibilities will increase- which will also increase stress in your life, hampering your overall health. You may very well make some startling revelations and new connections. It’s a good time for revitalizing a friendship or for discovering new ways to approach people that inspire trust and understanding and there can be interesting connections made. You would love passionately and sincerely and reap the benefits of true love in life. Favorable Dates: April 3, 6, 15, 21, 24, 30 Favorable Colors: Red & Yellow 145 C’est Moi Magazine

....... Capricorn (22 December – 19 January) This is a time for you to transform for the better in some way. You may focus on more serious aspects of life, and you’re driven to improve those situations. You are bound to experience entirely new viewpoints and perspectives through your interactions with others who introduce you to new interests or who help reignite old ones. Willpower is very strong, and so is vitality, so do what you can to figure out where to direct these things for best rewards. You could also be more emotional but you keep it to yourself. Favorable Dates: April 4, 11, 13, 20, 22, 28 Favorable Colors: Red & Purple Aquarius (20 January – 18 February) Your optimistic approach and ambitiousness will help you achieve whatever you want to. Your approach to relationships is fresh and new, and your generosity of spirit and willingness to be vulnerable are the most potent factors in your appeal in this month. You are seeking emotional satisfaction and wholeness, and people in your life can lead you in the right direction. You’re better able to communicate your feelings with others and words touch you more deeply than usual. You are looking for more from love– it’s increasingly about intimacy as well as mystical or romantic elements. Favorable Dates: April 3, 4, 12, 13, 21, 22 Favorable Colors: Green & Yellow Pisces (19 February – 20 March) It’s a potentially excellent time for creative inspiration, and you might revive a friendship or endeavour. Very warm and positive energy is with you for sharing viewpoints, spending time with others, creative expression, romance, and learning. There can be some wonderful opportunities to enjoy yourself. Educational, travel, and other mindexpanding activities can be in focus and can thrive or opportunities for these things can present themselves. Your efforts now are very constructive and you are not inclined to want to leave any loose ends untied. Favorable Dates: April 4, 7, 13, 16, 22, 25 Favorable Colors: Red & Grey www.facebook.com/manishastroconsultant manish@manishastrologer.com Picture Source: https://www.pixabay.com C’est Moi Magazine 146
