Target Population: Young adults, from age 18-25, with chemical dependency and emotional challenges are eligible. Participants must have Medi-Cal and GR, SSI or SDI. They also offer a sliding pay scale. Services Provided: Their residential programs include detoxification services for both alcohol and drugs and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. For admission, the center conducts an assessment through a medical detox unit to assess the need for medical detoxification. Psychological assessments are available if needed. Programs last from three days to one year.

Target Population: Men 18 years and older who desire to stop abusing substances. To qualify, client must not be on SSI or disability income and be willing to follow a structured program. Services Available: This is a faith-based 10 month residential drug and alcohol recovery program that provides a sober living environment and case management. Residents must remain drug free and will be tested weekly. The program will provide food, shelter, clothing, case management, spiritual guidance, transportation, life-skills training and other resources.
Bridge Transitional Living Facility

Target Population: Males 18 years and over whom are willing to live in a sober living environment. Program is income based. Services Available: Participants can stay up to 24 months and receive housing, case management services, linkage to social services, and life skills workshops. Program participants will be drug screened.

Target Population: Young women, 18-25 years old, who are recovering from addiction, are eligible. Residents receiving Medi-Cal and GR, SSI, or SDI are eligible. Services Available: This residential program runs in three phases and lasts anywhere from a month to one year. In phase I, prior to being admitted, residents are assessed to develop an individualized recovery plan. In phase II, residents progress through different stages to successfully carry out their individualized recovery plan. In phase III, residents are provided with support to plan for life beyond rehab. They are offered job skills training, job placement, parenting classes, and other resources.

Target Population: Youth who suffer from substance abuse. Services Available: Services include evaluation and assessment; case management; individual and group counseling; academic education; recreation; family counseling; and aftercare referrals. Academies may also provide medical, dental, and psychiatric evaluation and treatment; GED testing; and pre-vocational activities. Cultural and recreational offerings at various Phoenix House Academies include yoga, karate, and meditation classes; opportunities to work with horticultural experts; or even write and record music in a professional on-site music studio
